Having finished the game, here are some things I'd like to say about it.
1. I'm rather upset they changed the voice of Altair. I never played the PSP game called Bloodlines but I'm assuming they used the same VA who did Altair there in Revelations. And if not, still, why couldn't they just kept the guy from the first game?
2. I'm disappointed with how the new "face models" looked. I preferred the originals ... all of a sudden they changed everyone almost completely in Revelations. True, the characters appear more fleshed out but to the point that they are unrecognizable (IMO).
3. Regarding the Desmond Sequences and Animus Data Fragments sidequests...
I suspect the whole first-person perspective implemented in this game is just a prototype for a more fast-paced and flexible version of it, like that of Mirror's Edge, in the next game.
4. The ending...
Totally awesome. I love how this series is keeping true to the idea of the Ancient Astronaut Theory (through the minds of the Ubisoft game devs, of course). Hell, they're rather unapologetic about it and that's what makes it awesome lol.
5. And food for thought...
What if Desmond himself is just a memory and the final game's ending will reveal that it is a future descendant of Desmond looking into the past trying to put the pieces together of how the world was saved from impending doom? Crazy, I know, but why not?
