What? No, not those shitty NES games way back. I'm talkin' about Back to the Future: The Game
The upcoming game by Telltale studios.
They've done well to keep a wrap-up on videos, only giving us behind the scenes trailers.
The game is devided into 5 parts, first of which coming this month. (December.) Oddly there's still no exact release date.
Platforms:
PC

OP Comments
Looks cartoony. Eh, I'll let it slide since it's BTTF.
Sucks that it's not on 360. Good thing I bought a PS3 a few months ago.
Looks like it's gonna be a download game, not a disc.
Sources say it's a Point n Click. Telltale, I am disappoint.
Smart choice on not releasing for 360. They obviously don't want to deal with microsoft with releasing the chapters for the game as they'd probably charge the community and what not. I personally don't think point and click is a bad choice as it's just going back to the oldschool style of adventure games on the PC which makes sense due to it being Telltale. I'm personally very interested as what the story is going to be, can't wait as the BTTF trilogy is just awesome.
Telltales seem like they can possibly do a good story. With a point and click game the focus is going to be on story. I would probably give it a chance.
I had my doubts too about this game when I first found out about it, cause we all know the history of video games based off movies...
Well, after looking at this video, I can honestly say that I'd love to play it:
My only complaint from what I've seen it the graphics, specifically the "cartoony" look that everyone has. It looks ugly...environments look good though.
I love Telltale games and I'm surprised no-one bought up "from the creators of Sam & Max" during all this. I'm gonna wait until all five parts are out to see whether it's worth my cash, but I trust Telltale can do wonders with the franchise.
Even though it does feel like Universal Studios selling out (see also the upcoming Jurassic Park game from the same developers), and Telltale trying their best - as fans of the properties - not to make them feel like just a cheap, 25 years-too-late cash-ins.
In case you haven't seen this interview. Thought you might like to listen.
Anyways, it was an interesting take but what I don't understand is that is this
Spoiler:
Emmet Brown suppose to be a past Emmet Brown that got stuck so that's why the car still exists? I would like to assume this is a Emmet Brown before Ep. 3. So something like The Time Traveler's wife ending.
