i cant even get this game to install.. everytime i click install or setup i get this

Just downloaded this to try it out but i seem to be getting some problem. As soon as i started this game, its menu is really laggy and the first scene as well, is this just me or is it like this?

as far as I remember, to play the game smoothly, you have to change the colour settings of your desktop, or play windowed. Control settings are at the start screen, as far as I remember. .. .

Just started playing this game today even though I've had this game for a while now. First problem that i've encountered is all the character voices no longer appearing. When I first started, everyone in the party (even the dragon) had character voices. Then around the time I took on the first official mission after the tutorial ones, voices just stopped.
Anyway to resolve the issue?

it's not a problem. Only the "important" bits are voiced( read: intro, some storyline and hscenes).

Thanks Zirod, I found out about it as I continued on the game. Well, it's been almost 2 weeks and so far I kinda enjoy the game. Reminds me of some of the old RPG's I used to play except with sex and voices XD
I'm still playing it for the first time, going through Alicia's route and went down one of the optional dungeons to unlock Clare's/Shell's true form. And boy what luck, one of the mobs dropped 'The Fastest', one of the best swords for Rudy and bloody useful for running through dungeons, saves you time instead of just walking it. Didn't think I'd get it on easy mode.
I wanna ask though, once I finish this game and restart it to a different difficulty, will I still have all the items/gold or basically have nothing except some of the spells/skills unlocked from the first game? If not, then I might as well just sell everything.

ALL of your items will disappear the moment you go for a new game despite finishing it. As you finish the game a few number of times, you unlock the other difficulties, which will obviously be harder, but more rewarding (better EXP and item drops)
But if you're talking about your level, well, that still depends if you want them. There will also be a choice if you want to return to lvl 1, be at half the elven you finished the game with, or be at the highest level you finished the game with.
If you get the Sword called "The Fastest", you'll have almost NO trouble finishing the game :D.

Yeah the Fastest is the best. If I ever finish all the routes, I might even go through 'Loser's Paradise' and go through 101 lvls of monster hell just to try out Excalibur.
Got another question, in 'novice mode', where you get to keep half your lvl from the previous game, is the game still pretty much the same as 'easy/weak' or is it more along normal/hard?

normal imo. And as you play more games, there will come an option where u can keep your items and gold. Wealthy I think. For this u have to:
Get all the girls' endings and clear Losers' Paradise on Crazy to get Ending Zero.
Edit: the fastest is best endgame. Then u can just go ctrl+ hold mouse in direction for dungeon clearing. If U don't die :D.

Alright yesterday just finished all the endings including ending 0. God 'Loser's Paradise' is bloody annoying. It was easy to survive and kill everything; mainly cause throughout all the games i've been pimping all the characters (my Rudy is maxed in hp/mp :]), but such a waste of time to kill all the monsters. But I can finally claim that i've pretty much completed the game. Even Crazy seems like a walk in the park for me now :P, but yeah, this game was good for a H-Rpg and the story was particularly interesting. Now... onto the next game...
