Censorship in Visual Novels

How do you feel about censorship when it comes to visual novels ported to other mediums?

While many major game console developers would care for/store owners allow for an AO (ESRB), Z (CERO) or 18+ rated game, it's not like online sales havenæ taken place.

When one person is looking for Visual Novel centered around h-scenes, that person may want to see the CGs without any kind of censorship since it probably assumes that the scenes won't be that enjoyable / doesn't feel confortable with censored CGs for whatever reason. The same can be said about Visual Novels not centered around h-scenes.
Even if we're not talking about h-scenes, the same can be applyed to those scenes.

I personally don't mind it at all. Of course that I like uncensored CGs but the censorship won't ruin the scenes for me. Besides, this is a legal issue in Japan so even if we complain nothing will probably be done.

Since all the above options don't apply for me I won't vote.

I'm not sure I'm quite getting what you're trying to say.

Yeah I'm on the "don't care" boat as well.

Eventually I just got used to the mosaics and let my brain do the rest of the work of clearing the details.

I'm not talking about the normal censorship in the adult versions, I'm talking about censored versions made later for actual game consoles.

In this specific case I wanted to say that I enjoy the h-scenes even if they are censored. That's basically it.
I also don't mind when there's no h-content.

Ironically, i usually don't care if the VNs have h-scenes in it, if anything I usually skip them to go with the stories.

Same. I did this on my first run in G-Senjou.

I don't mind a secondary "all ages" version. I was able to buy Kira Kira for an under age friend of mine when MangaGamer got the go ahead and released it like that, and she loved it.

I usually mind censorship, but offering a SFW version of a previously NSFW game seems ok to me, oddly enough. Perhaps it is because I play these more for story than anything else (but I like good sex scenes now and again).

As for mosaics... eh, I don't care. I DO mind actual censorship, like what MangaGamer was almost forced to do with Soul Link (because of child pornography laws in the west they worried that the underage character would possibly get customers in trouble and considered just removing her sex scenes) and what JAST did with Family Project (adding underwear to a couple CGs of the youngest girl despite upping her age... and leaving in her sex scenes). But sometimes that is a price to pay.
