Chrono Cross/ Remember it?

Okay so I am going through my old Ps1 game stash and I find two of my favorite games...well the cases. Chrono Cross/ Legend of the Dragoon. I loved them both but I haven't heard much about Chrono cross, I honestly think it was a really well made game. I still wish I can actually go back and beat it but places stopped selling ps1 games, anywho what do you all think of the game?

one of the best RPG's i the PS1 lineup... I actually lost sleep over this game... it has epic story, epic soundtrack, a good combat system and tons of characters It's hard to find a better game that Chrono cross

Hell yeah, hands down one of the best RPGs on the Playstation. Only one I bothered to keep over the years too. Of course that's because the majority of my collection back then was crap, and CC was the only one worth keeping, but I digress. :P

I would've loved to try it out sometime, as all i hear about it is praise, but to be able to play it i needed a Playstation Multi-X (or whatever they were called) which i didn't ahve =(

I had to settle with buying the epic soundtrack.

Chrono Cross: The game everyone hated because it wasn't Chrono Trigger.

Had not people had such expectations, it sure as hell wouldn't be as forgotten as it is. Great game.

You can easily download the game Image,and play it on PSX Emulator.As for the game...Do you even have to ask? My copy's cd2 got broken though.

I don't know. I played Trigger first, but I still found Cross to be pretty damn epic. Although I will admit for the first few hours I played Cross I was pretty skeptical.

Chrono Cross is an awesome game. Though I find myself playing the same characters over and over because I came to love them. Favorite character is Glenn. But when I am forced not to have him in the party, Van makes a GOOD replacement.

Cross is an extremely good game.

But what I had said is basically how it was generally received... A shame, really.

This is one of those games that I wish I had had the money/time to play and never did and probably now never will.

It is even a mystery why there is no sequel......

I am the only one that never see the true ending...

Cursed cause buying a pirate disc....

The game always freeze when I go to the dragon what place to achieve the sitem required to get true ending....

Chrono Cross is one of the best RPGs I've played for the ps1
no doubts the animations themselves were pretty good,
Along with the soundtrack that kept me playing
It's good in my opinion

Ah Chrono Cross, Epic game indeed. Though i did not finish the game I got stuck at the place many whirlpool was and currently my char is Lynx(I think is was Sea of Eden). I got a little down because my auntie finished the game first, That's why i repeated it and played "new game+" In the end, I never got to finish that game T^T.

PS : Its easy to play that game when you have the FastForward thingy.

Epic soundtrack indeed. I have the game still but its the collectors version, not the original. Just a few months ago I finally unlocked every character by going thru it 3 times XD. Nothin beats the battle theme with the violins going insane, then seein X-Strike destroy your enemy. Lol

what? this is a real surprise. that's one of the most epic classic rpg ever.

and omg chrono chross is hard to use.

Never played it because my cousin said it wasn't as good as Chrono Trigger. If I get some time I'll download it off of somewhere and play it on my emulator. Thanks for sharing the music link, that got me motivated enough to try it out.
