I don't see the point of being a fanboy of any company. Ultimately you are going to end up disappointed by one method or another, and then stupid threads like this get created. You feel personally begrudged by a company, that quite frankly doesn't give a rats ass about one individual gamer.

I really like ATLUS and their "ATLUS Spoils" strategies in marketing their games (OSTs abound!). Yet, like you said, they don't give a shit in the end.
--Lately their flagship franchise (Shin Megami Tensei/SMT) has taken a nose dive into DS territory. This wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that their first three games on the PS2 were fantastic to look at. Since then, the graphics utilized have declined (Persona 3 & 4, despite being great games (well, 4 anyway) look like shit in comparison to Nocturne and Digital Devil Saga. And now we have the long awaited predecessor to our beloved Notcurne coming to us on the DS. Mother fucker...
_Anyway, to sum it all up, like you said, no company should be wholeheartedly adored.

Well you can allways play SMT: SJ on DS emulator lol.
