As lacking as the game is, I still think it's worth picking up once the price drops - if you can get it for $40 or less, I'd say go for it. I'm sure TecmoKoei plan on milking this game until the next DOA comes out, so maybe it'll get better (or at least have better swimsuits available).

Well there's a f2p version coming out this summer so might as well wait until then.

To be honest, I have no idea how cross-save works either. I bought my Vita about a week ago and I am still learning about its compatibility functions with the PS4.

After playing DOA Xtreme 3 on the Vita for a while, I realize I suck quite badly at this game. ^_^;; Or perhaps I am merely distracted by all the fanservice? I need more practice with the beach volleyball game, as well as that of the going across the water by pressing the crossing buttons reflected on the floats.

Lastly, I am disappointed tanning is not available on the Vita. I guess I will be spending more time at my friend's place once the PS4 edition arrives.

Previous Tecmo/Koei games w/ cross-save work by letting you upload/download your save from the options menu. I doubt saves from different regions are compatible, but I can always hope...

I somehow managed to finish Momiji w/ an S+ rating, and I have no idea how - I finished all of her character-specific missions, and got a little bonus scene at the end of her vacation. Did one final game w/ Hitomi, and got a D rank. =\ I think one of the differences is that I spammed Momiji w/ gifts every night.

And Helena + braided ponytail + white goddess swimsuit + volleyball taunt = *droooooool* I'd like to get more outfits for Nyotengu but it's hard b/c she's a real bitch and no one wants to partner up w/ her. =(

Pardon the bear for the following noob questions, which I would like to hear from everyone.

1)

From what hub0083 mentioned, can I safely say cross-save means the data from either the PS4 or Vita is uploaded to a server and then downloaded to either platform, if the user chooses to do so? On DOA Xtreme 3, what exactly is 'cross-saved"? Progress within the game? Swimsuits? Owner level?

2) As mentioned previously, anyone knows if the cross-save function works between a Vita Japanese edition and PS4 Asian edition? I will be playing both editions on my Japanese PSN account though. If both the Japanese and Asian editions are not cross-save compatible, I am tempted to sell my mint condition PS4 Asian limited edition, and then purchase a PS4 Japanese limited edition (assuming the latter is still in stock).

Finally got my CE Copy of the game..

First things first...Man, Good thing I don't gamble in real life...I suck at that part where you need to stop where you're ahead part...

The tanning feature is kinda annoying if you don't want the girls to get tanned.

BTW, is there a "safer" way to earn money as the owner?

It's a very tedious and grindy process but this has worked for me:



tl;dw: always raise the minimum every time, chances are the girls will fold before you reach 50k bets. If you've got a shit hand and they're not hesitant to match or raise over your bet, then you should fold. Don't play against Helena, Marie Rose and Nyotengu, quit and leave until they're gone.

You lost all respect for me as a man. If you were there, you would not leave while Nyotengu is there.

Nyotengu isn't the worst offender though, you can win big with her but you can also lose as much. A bit unpredictable.



I apologize Nyotengu but it's because I care about the things you wear and want you to be happy.
