I just made a theif and already gained my second job advancment. I think the Theif has 2 subclasses that havn't been released yet. Your Skill list read: Swift, Ninja, Necro and Stealth but you can only pick Rouge and Necro. After checking online there's only those two classes, so I'm at a loss as to why they wouldn't release the other two subclasses? Anyone want to let me know>

Those two classes have yet to be released on both versions of the game. In other words, they're still in development.
Also, here's a somewhat update roster for your enjoyment:
Spoiler:
Also, gratz Catfish.
-Edit-
If anyone here feels obliged to add me I would recommended just going with my two fighters (Bromac and DancingRain), as well as my rouge BlueBlueMoon. Those are the three chars I plan to play the most out of in the coming weeks.
murrr found this thread and now I'm starting to play again. I'm going to get back into the groove of the game before letting anyone know which one am I.
Wow. nobody has posted since july. hope I am not breaking any rules by posting here. it confuses me. two rules contradict each other... one says not to make a new thread for games the other says to do so if it has been at least 2-3 weeks.
Anyway, I play the american version of this game and have a level 49 female spitfire. I just wanted to post to share some arena experiences with you guys. My usual arena strategy is a weird one to say the least and it stems from my PVE set up, but because it is weird nobody expects it and that helps it work. I only really use 1 technique and this is because my usual training partner is a monk. rather good one too. The technique? Ice shot. I use ice shot and a crossbow and then I pray. only won once but the match ups are usually pretty dang close. Hard for a monk to combo somebody when he is frozen and the ice shot does heavy damage regardless. Seriously. getting frozen could easily mean over a third of any player's life gone by the time they get unfrozen. unfortunately, after that I am sorta screwed. I can freeze once or twice in a match, but a monk can always combo me to death. but most other moves save for the marilyn rose don't do squat against a well played monk. They require opponents to be at a good range or require a perfect timing. Anyway, before I ramble on too much, I actually had the chance to try this technique against a level 60 female fighter in an elimination match. I was second and she had decimated the other person on my team. I somehow got her down to about 1/4th life before she could KO me. just goes to show that sometimes simple is better
By the way, did anyone realize that there is an actual DFO anime outside of the shorts that were posted earlier?

There are over 25 episodes but there is no way I'd be allowed to put them all here, so there are the first two.
I haven't played in forever.
I did have a 28 fem striker, but thanks to that pass campaign nexon, I can't remember my old e-mail info, so I'm technically locked out. If was really laggy on my poor old comp anyways, so I should just get a new one made.
When I get that done, I'll just make a new striker in a new, more current account.
Anyone have any tips on strikers, at the time I made one, it was pretty for me to see another. Don't know if that changed at all.
If any of you want to contact me when playing DFO, my spitfire is ShenaUmbasa. Feel free to add me. Just say that you are from Fakku if I ask who you are. bad habit of mine. if a name I don't recognize is trying to chat to me I ask how they know me. Oh, by the way, I also have a female striker named NekaSulia (level 22) A rogue named Nicusha (Level 19) and a battle mage named SeliaPyro (level 20) I also have a level 5 or 6 male fighter but that is barely worth mentioning. as are my level 1 characters that I have yet to start. all the mentioned characters save for ShenaUmbasa don't see much action because I spend too much time on my spitfire. Anyway, that is my line up. I'll get a screen shot for you guys soon enough.
I used to be huge into this game. Hit 70 on my main, several level 60's, all but 4 classes awakened and over level 50, hundreds of millions worth of avatars (many of which have been unattainable for over a year), got really geared, +11 pinks, etc. No goldbuyer bullshit like you'll find with members in Kinetic and Atlantis, but pretty damn good for what you could get legitimately.
Don't bother sending messages about playing through dungeons or anything pve related to me though, if you were planning on it. I got banned a month ago. I actually got my ticket closed without a response, still haven't gotten anything on my new ticket, and my other tickets sent 19 months ago about other issues still have no response.
If you were still wanting to get together with some other Fakku members, try Cruel-Destiny or PandalynXD, although I'm not sure if they're playing as much since I was banned. We were the 3 amigos in dfo.
Nexon is a terrible company, who willingly ignore reported players proven to hack the game (could link you a video right now), yet ban legitimate players. Doesn't matter, if you pay them enough money, you can do whatever you want, just look at Lauvi. I will most likely not be coming back to this game. Enjoy the destroyed economy from gold sellers pricing $4/10mil.
Now... with that said, I can still help with builds, should you want any assistance, though that would be better done over at dfosource.com. I'm much better with female fighters. If you're ever making a brawler (female), then just come to me.
I did say I'll never play this game again, but more for my own benefit or fun. I'll still log on my other account to help others. I can play against you with my monk, but he's nowhere near geared enough for anything, and actually got a little carried away with a free reset and forgot some essential skills before my SP ran out.
As for your pvp strategy, as odd as it may come to you, using a handcannon as a female spitfire would be best.
-Easy escape maneuver, jumping and shooting a handcannon with leap activated will launch you across the room if no obstacles are in the way. Also vital for assisting in throwing aerial grenades, something exclusive to female spitfires.
-Enough hitstun to enable and OTG BBQ cancel after a single shot
-Use your landmines stun to reset the enemies to restart your combos. Usually you plant it while they're in the air or if they're frozen, then spriggan the opponent on the ground to ensure the mine goes off on them. Using Spriggan immediately after they're frozen would require perfect timing or fire damage to unfreeze them.
-Marilyn Rose should be used to protect yourself from getting caught. Not only does it have fairly long range relative to launch attacks, but it's super armor is more than enough to save you from launching attacks (like Chopping Hammer since you're playing against a monk). Just practice timing it. Fighters actually have to do this a lot.
Watch kConquista's streams of Korean pvpers if you'd like to see more pvp in action.
seriously, it's been three times I've tried to download and play this game, but it always ends up in me remembering "Lol, USA and Canada only" the hard way.
yeah, forgot to mention that I used marilyn rose. forgot that I used it. it was sorta so first nature to me that I didn't think about it. Guess I use two moves in PVP after all. As for the handcannon, yes, I do see that it is a strong weapon but it actually works against my strategy. Let me explain. The ice shot has a low probability of freezing and until my ice grenades get to a higher level I can't get them off more than once in the air, so ice shot is the best way to go for me. Anyway, with the low percentage of freezing, the best bet is to use a weapon that can fire a lot of shots really fast. each shot has a minimal chance of freezing, sure, but the chance of none of the shots freezing is also rather miniscule. with a hand cannon I could only get 2 shots off which would pretty much nullify my strategy. That said, I may use the hand cannon later on and I appreciate the tips. another point is that my reaction time is pretty sucky. always has been. maybe I haven't given BBQ the fairest of shots because of that. anyway, thanks again for the tips, I will keep them in mind.
The rest of the stuff you mentioned makes sense to me, but it will take some practice.
Handcannon is more for utility than strength. Enchanted bullet damage is going to come from Magic Attack, something the handcannon isn't really strong on. Just watch those videos I posted if you haven't and you'll see what I mean. I'm not saying this is how you should play, but it's just a really good way to play with as many approaches it allows.
And yeah, BBQ is an amazing skill for pvp (probably one of the most important skills if not the most important for gunners). Places enemies right in front of you and has super armor. Only has some issues in lag, in that it will just act as a marilyn rose/jack spike and not actually grab them and start shooting.
Hm. I'll have to log on my alt and face you a few times to see how well it works out. Available characters on that account are
Yeah, still sad ur gone cat, u are still the best in the game :3
yeah, im still playing, helping here and there.

Buhbye everyone,
silly of me to look here for Cat XD.
btw, did u get that mesg i left u Cat?
u should give my char a try and its totally fine with me ^^!
Ok. need help on screaming caverns among other places now.
PS: I'll look you guys up next time I get the chance, and yeah, I look forward to a few arena matches.
Edit: Ok. So I got together with my monk friend, Smashuh so that I could record a few arena matches. He always kicks my butt, but I am pretty sure that in the third match you will see just why I depend on ice shot. By the way, thanks for teaching me to mix other tricks in Cat. Anyway, first match I was being too careful and couldn't manage to face the right way, and second match he comboed the heck out of me. wasn't until third match that these fights started getting good.
