I know, right? I couldn't justify getting one when the only game I wanted to play on it was OoT, especially when my N64 still works fine.
But as soon as I head about the WiiU I was excited about another Zelda title. Actually seeing it in action a bit online and in E3 is actually getting me interested in the console itself.
Hell OOT3D was all I needed to get me to preorder both the system and game. even though my collectors edition and my glorious golden OOT cartridge that Ive had since I was 5 still worked like a charm. And I knew nintendo would eventually bring more games to justify my day one buy although Id be content with the bueatifully remade OOT3D. Yeah the console itself has me interested which it's usually "what games does it have?". And got me thinking all the possibilities for future games. Safe to say Nintendos E3 will be one to remember
I really hope so, especially after Microsoft's waste of my time...

The wiiU is definitely not just a "one screen DS with just more power." it's already proven that it is it's own system with the way the controller works. I've seen a glimps at what it can do and I am quite excited.

I like to throw Ubisoft in based on how much better their conference was than MS and, in my opinion, Sony's.

It will certainly not be as bad as Microsoft that's already obvious. They have the wiiU and 3DS and all the unknown games. there's atleast one jem hidden in the pile of question marks. So if they somehow make last place I'll personally come here on fakku and say I finally agree with the nintendo is doomed people.

As for your comment on the Wii U yes it's a fine piece of technology, but I just don't like it, it feels more like a DS with console preference which is not bad but, just not my cup of tea dear Sir.
Ps I'm still buying it for times when I'm bored of my other consoles.

Usually constant cussing is a indicator of anger Lol but it's no big deal. I can see where you get the console DS i thought that the first time I saw it. But yeah like I said it's it's own system entirely. although I will admit I'm still more excited about stuff for the 3DS then wiiU.

For those of you who have a 3DS nintendo has sent out a swapnote. Nothing major but it has a new stationary and tells what time their event starts. And if you haven't received the notice you can check the eshop for information about their E3 stuff.

Can we stop bickering, there are games to discuss. I'm looking forward to a Metroid announcement and a brief Smash Bros. demo myself. Ninty have got Sony right where they want them with the 3DS, and the Wii U looks better every day.

Sakurai was busy with kid icarus so they couldn't even begin the project until kid icarus was done. Which wasn't long ago. I heard itll take 5 years or so to finish it so it's completely impossible to even have a demo. Man I really hate being the bearer of bad news.

No I totally understand that, they've only been working on it for 8 or 9 months. But I don't think it's impossible that they could have a trailer with some gameplay snippets crammed in; the team is enormous. It'd keep the hype going.

Well, think about it: they have most of, if not all the developers from both Sora and HAL Labs working on the game. HAL were working on the game before Sora finished with Kid Icarus, hence the game being in 'early development' before that even came out.
