Emulation

That was my PC last night, shortly before the CPU blew up.

Anyone frequently emulate games? Often I do it with games that I already own, but look better with PC anti-aliasing and the like. Dolphin is especially good for making Cube games prettier. Before my DS died I used to use that for the odd NES game.

Just started recently playing ps2 games on emulator. Playing all the RPGs I couldn't before. Ar Tonelico 1 atm.

i mainly just play old stuff like PS1 and earlier era. a lot of the ps2 games i wanted to play they have hd version collections on the ps3 (with the exception of Onimusha).

also i have a SNES and GBA emulator on the psp, as well as the fact it has a built-in ps1 emulator so i use that mostly. i rarely play emulators on my computer nowadays.

I seem to enjoy old arcade fighting games more than consoles, so I got a Kawaks installed in my notebook that plays King of Fighters '99 through 2002, X-Men/Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter and recently, the 3rd Strike trilogy. I'm looking for compatible emulators and roms so I can play Rival Schools as well as Street Fighter EX +, which is my all time favorite SF game.

Used to have MAME for a while and had tons and tons of regular old arcade games, my favorite ones were Aliens vs Predator and Metal Slug X.

Then I had a VBA just for Fire Emblem 6.

Then I had an SNES emulator with 50 games.

Then I had all the NES Megaman games.

I just stopped and deleted all of them since I grew bored of them.

I play games that I actually own on emulation anyway. Savestating, for regular save&load functions rather than cheating, is too convenient.

I use it for GBA, DS, and most recently PS2. Though PCSX2 lags badly on my rig.

P.S: Is there any stable emulator for 3DS? I wanna play Fire Emblem: Awakening so badly..

I need to find a decent PS2 and Gameboy Color and Advance Emulator, there are so many games I want to play but cant because my Gameboy's broke.

GBA - Visual Boy Advance(I'm not sure, but I think it should play GB Color games too.)

I use emulators 24/7 and I have a lot of different emulators and games.

The only thing that annoys me is that there are many PS2 games that I cannot play because of my graphics chip.

Yep, Gameboy/GBC/Advance.

I do emulate games from time to time, although since this is a laptop I'm really limited, this can emulate GBA games and the like without problem.
I've wanted to play some PS games, but not many are emulated at least decently in this thing, only 6 games pass the decent mark, and only 3 emulate flawlessly.
I would like to have a fairly nice PC to be able to emulate even some PS2 games.

I emulate some games, not very often though. Mostly I emulate handheld games...

I used it a few times for PlayStation 1 games. Although I just stopped after a short while for no reason.

Using Winkawaks for playing CPS and MVS games.

I usually emulate SNES games, sometimes gamecube games.

Also holy shit op, what processor do you use to run all those games before crashing?

Really just DS or GBA games, and the occasional NES/SNES.

A simple i5-2500k. Twilight Princess pushed it over the edge, to be honest

SEGA Dreamcast (I own one IRL) - nullDC
Games: Project Justice, Spawn, Aerowings, Toy Commander (deleted), Daytona USA, Power Stone 1&2, Cart to Cart (deleted), and many other games that I forgot to mention that I already deleted.

SONY PlayStation - ePSXe
Games: Gran Turismo, Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX. (Yeah. I don't own a PS Myself, so...)

SONY PlayStation 2 - PCSX2 (Kinda lags for me.)
Games: War of the monsters (deleted), WWE Smackdown vs. raw (haven't touched that file after DLing).
After I found out that with the best settings, I still get a laggy game, I abandoned my future downloads for PS2 emulator (like FFX2, Fate, Metal Arms, any Gran Turismo Sequels etc.)

Nintendo Gameboy Advance - VisualBoy Advance
Games: LoZ: The Minish Cap, Pokeymans Fire Red and leaf green, Wario Ware 4 (I forgot).
I forgot most of my games here cause my previous computer crashed long ago and all of my GBA games were lost.

Nintendo DS - DeSmuME
Games : Phoenix Wright, Cooking Mama 2 and 3 (for the occasional lulz)

Android - BlueStacks
Games : 100 Doors (can't get past level 2 because the emulator does not have an upside-down function. Yet.), Coin Dozer (though I haven't tested it yet.)

Neo Geo (Arcade) - WinKawaks
Games: Samurai Showdown, King of fighters, Sonic Wings, Metal Slug X
