[ENG] ef - a fairy tale of the two (ef - Lite)

Maybe it's me or maybe it's the fact that i just love how shaft made it into anime but the vn kinda disappointed me.
It is really an exception for the normal standard but from dialogues to directing ideas i think that the anime was really better.
Ah, but Shinkai CG + Tenmon musics really hit the spot, that's the only thing i found better in the original.

I disagree. I think the anime over dramatized the story quite a bit and I like the games more subdued tone personally. I also thought the writing was on a whole other level in the VN as well and I'm also not a fan of Shaft's style. And, as you said, the art and music in the game is sublime. That said, I haven't read the latter tale as of yet.

So, is Daemon Tools don't work on this? I use Daemon Tools to mount the file, and yes it is mounted, but cannot be read.

Any help?

USe PowerISO or MagicISO.

I don't remember this even needing to be mounted, if you have NNL's ef Lite release. You should just need the installer and the data file together, then run the installer.

Question: Is there not supposed to be music early on in the VN? I hear voices fine but no BGM has played yet...

Since this thread was bumped, for everyone that is interested, it seems that mangagamer is aiming for a december release. There's a hint (at least, I want to believe that it's about ef).

That's not the blog, though, just what they used for hosting the files. And since they stopped that and are now working on the official translation, that site indeed is not available anymore.

As luinthoron said, NNL no longer support their previous projects since they now work with regard to official translations. However, we're in the internet, so you know what should be expected.

All that you need (including the lite installer) is on the opening post.

The Mediafire link in the first post should still work.
