Same problems here. Neither JP or patched versions work.

Ya something is missing, even JP version don't work, game doesn't even load.

P.S. Downloading the torrent from NyaaTorrents, will see how that works. (1 hour or so to go for this to be done)

If the JP version isn't running, is your regional setting on Japanese (as in your time setting)?

If it isn't open up regional and language in the control panel and under standards and formats in the regional tab, find and select Japanese. This is for an XP OS.

The only reason I can think of this reason is because Seinarukana required it so...

Ya I know how Xuse games work, I did local and App locale to JP like Xuse makes you for all their games (Seinarukana was like that)

Plus the torrent I'm getting now it's 1.45 gb while the iso image darykk uploaded is only 1.01 gb so i think a huge chunk of data is missing. But then maybe I could be wrong, can't tell until i finish downloading this torrent first.

my extracted working iso which is patch-able and playable in english is 1.73GB in size. have a check with that

That the Kono Daichi no Hate de version one?

Is that the fully extract version or the one that's still RAR'd?


edit: The Torrent should work. The unpatched game works. Running the patch now.

This seems to be a common problem when running the patch. I just hit it myself.

Did you end up getting it running? If so I'll look into getting this game from somewhere else.

Okay, that did the trick. It seems to work.


One last note: Run the graphics installer as an administrator. Otherwise it may not work.

Go to there forums for bugs and problem that's how I solved mine.

i got this one + the larger torrent one and i still cannot install this game
(yes i got Japanese setting even tried it with applocal) so i got it to work but even with the patch it is still in Japanese

I have a problem too. When i try to install the game it gives me some kind of an error in japanese.
I am running it on windows 7.

thas what i had i just copied all my files on my computer and put the patch with them i can work the game but it is still only in jap

umm someone explain to me why in the hell my game won't work tried both the torrent and darykk's upload and not even the JP version works. I change my local and app locale settings to that of JP and it still doesn't seem to be working.. All my other JP games work fine though...

1) check if the name of the japanese game installed is :
永遠のアセリア － この大地の果てで

2) in my case, even after i installed the game, the english patch installer claimed that it didnt detect anything. therefore i manually chose to install the patch in the installed folder c:\program files\xuse\永遠のアセリア － この大地の果てで

edit: and just as a note: i had all the settings to play japanese language games and used a copy of the game not obtained from this thread

I did everything you did, expect the copy of the game was from this thread. Doesn't that mean it's the game copy that is mess up? It should be install since it says it on control panel, and I manually install the patch, but even so I got 2 error on japanese when I try to open that application.

Putting this annoyingness on hold till I finish Hanaoto

well, not necessarily true. the op was able to install his copy. just as a check, anyone else who download from here able to patch and play in english?
