Summary:
Enzai takes place in the early 19th century in France. A young boy, Guys, who comes from a poor family gets caught by a detective, Guildias, for stealing candy. However Guys ends up being falsely accused of murdering someone whom he never met and was sentenced to prison for life.
From there Guys is taken inside a dark, claustrophobic, dirty prison where he is humiliated and tortured by the prisoners and guards especially Guildias and a sadistic guard named Durer.
However Guys is able to make friends and are able to help him find evidence along the way with his drunken lawyer Lusca, whom you have to force him to listen. The main Goal of the game is to make the right choices, in order to prove yourself innocent and make sure you are sane, less damaged mentally and physically. The secondary goal is to form a romantic relationship with one of non playable characters keeping Guys safe.
