Ever17 - Out of Infinity

These epic emotional endings everyone keeps talking about are what's keeping me going, but good GOD is the beginning boring. I am struggling to keep interested.

About how many hours in would you guesstimate it gets good? And what arc (just point out a character) would you suggest pursuing for a first playthrough?

i had the exact same problem, i stopped after 2 hours but, they all say it's epic so i kept reading on, i'd say about 4 hours is when it gets good, well... i dont know bout ur reading speed

after getting the your first ending for any girl, the skip function really helps, so much repeated events

Most people would say Tsugimi's path is the best, I'm biased and would rate anything with Ueda Kana 100/100 so Sara>all imo.

I did first Takeshi routes, and then Kid's, was a little boring at the end, but true ending REALLY deserves it.

Ok now, in a thread where everyone's praising this game I'll probably be the only fool to go against the flow and say, I am confused at best. That a visual novel is not an eroge well, I experienced it with Planetarian (which was by itself enough to bring me to tears), but after reading thoroughly about this one, I don't know what to think. That is, there are themes that are intriguing indeed (which those who played it will be reminded to), yet the whole point of the game is somehow missing. By no means I'm saying that it is plotless, as it actually lives on its plot, yet I found it strangely tasteless (or, simpler, I did not understand it well enough 8D).

Well, giving it a shot won't hurt ;) .

Hmm, it's starting to get interesting, maybe I was wrong after all.

However, does anyone know how to get the "bad" endings? I do have a walkthrough for the good ones, but since there are also bad ones I'd like to know.

I just really can't get enough of these visual novels! It's one of the great games I played too!
I was just wondering like it though..........
I know that there may be action-eroge that exist nowadays......
But there's just one game I can't find easily using Google right now.....
Maybe someone knows about the title "11 Eyes"? - although it's one of the [best?] action-eroges created, there's still isn't an English version of the game, no?

As far as I know, the four initial routes you can do each have a good and bad ending so all you have to do is get into someone's routes but choose the wrong choices to get the bad end.

Still, I greatly misjudged the game, its story is impressive indeed (though, I admit, it would have been better if it was something of a survival horror IMHO).

When I see this all I can think of is Sealab and how every episode it blows up comically. I'll try this out and hope it doesn't let down my expectations ;)

I too was skeptical at first but, truly, try it and be overjoyed that you tried, it really deserve all the praise it receives.

Mount them with Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.
