Not going to quote because your post is quite lengthy.
As a first point, note that there is a link where I say "Story Synopsis + tags + pics here". This gives the opportunity to those that are interested in knowing more to know what they should expect. If I removed for example Saya no Uta from the list that means that I was judging people new to VNs as not liking in any kind of circumstance some gore. The same applies to other kind of content presented on other VNs. If you are trying to give this kind of audience something to chose you can't do this.
Regarding Muv Luv
- Technical issues are not enough reason to not have it in the main recommendations. If someone is having trouble after following the instructions they can do some research by themselves and ask for help. Technical issues are fated to happen with one game or another and that isn't enough reason to not recommend it (even if the engine in particular may prove somewhat buggy). At least, not for the kind of list posted here.
- About the prequels, it's true that they aren't great and many people don't like them that much. However, note that both Muv Luv and Muv Luv Alternative are different games. It's the player choice to not have many expectations about the prequels and finish them or just skip them over. Also, there is what I mentioned above about the fact that a link to a story synopsis + tags is included. Anyone can check it and draw their own conclusion.
Regarding Tsukihime
- It's a matter of tastes. Tsukihime merely failed to get your attention in beginning but may succeed in getting other players attention. Even if the game is old and it's production value wasn't great, Tsukihime is still a great story overall. And of course you can't expect truly good art and BGM. It's a title released on 2000. But still, I believe that this isn't only my opinion but others as well, they aren't bad considering the time of release.
Regarding Redundancy
- So if a company releases more than one good game you can't include all of them in a recommendations list? This was the first thing I thought when I read what you said. I guess you're meaning the similar tags (nakige and mystery). I thought about that when elaborating the list but then I thought that I wouldn't be fair. KEY is known for making great nakige titles and 07th Expansion is known for the excellent mystery along other stuff. Again, I can't make these judgements for other people and to the titles themselves. If I included a section about similar VNs, I'm pretty sure that Little Busters and Kanon would be next to Clannad on the list but since I don't include that kind of section and the VN itself is good enough I don't see any problem about including it.
Regarding Katawa Shoujo
- Already discussed. In the VN medium, Katawa Shoujo doesn't standout. Quoting Zolnir:

Unfortunately I'll have to disagree. If the actual game was as high quality as the demo KS Act 1 had been then yes definitely, but it wasn't
- If we're making a recommendation list for all the medium then some titles can't receive special treatment.
Regarding Phoenix Wright
- Phoenix Wright series aren't uploaded on Fakku for now. If you didn't already notice, Fakku barely has VN uploaders. Maybe I'll upload it in the near future. But going to what you said, I agree that the Phoenix Wright series are quite entertaining and would definitely be on the special mentions list if they were uploaded on Fakku.
Regarding Steins;gate
- Current english patch is not 100% complete (there's some stuff untranslated if I'm not mistaken) and is in need of some editing. After official release and upload it'll be included on the main recommendations. It'll be released on February 2014. I already pre-ordered the limited edition.
Regarding Saya no Uta
- Already explained on the beginning.
