And this is just a collection of Opinions in fakku, there are already many sites that specifically list like this. we don't need to try and rival those sites.
The point of this list, is what VN is the most "liked" in fakku that's it.
[b]Last unrelated post. Do not try to create more argument/discussion[b]
Well, since I'm in mood for some VN now, I'm gonna make my list
1. G-Senjou no Maou
2. Daibanchou Big Bang Age
3. Majikoi (partially translated)
4. To Heart 2 (partially translated)

6. Sengoku Rance
7. A drugs that makes you dream
8. Utawarerumono
9. Bishoujo Mangekyou (the first story, and full jap)
10. Katawa Shoujo
As you can see, I prefer light/comedic stories one. Rarely played "serious" VN, but I might try one soon.
Just my personal top 10 and I see so far you guys have pretty great tastes! Good lists :)

5. Steins;Gate
6. Kara no Shoujo
7. G-Senjou
8. Kira Kira
9. Utawarerumono
10. DearDrops
(The amount of VN's I've completed so far is kinda limited - Only played 14 so far; Currently trying to get 100% CG in Kamidori; I'm at around 84% +- ... So I'll go with the ones I have tried)
1. Kamidori Alchemist Meister

3. Kira Kira
4. DEARDROPS
5. Koihime Musou

I've got a question; Aoishiro - Is it a good game? Is it worth the playtime?
I havn't actually gotten started on it or anything, hence why I'm asking for peoples thoughts, though I'm considering going for it :) So... What are your thoughts?
1. Ever 17 -out of infinity-
2. G-Senjou no Maou
3. Tsukihime
4. Sharin no kuni, himawari shoujo
5. Crescendo
6. Saya no uta
7. Remember 11

10. Chaos Head
1. Muv-Luv Alternative

3. Fate/Stay Night
4. Clannad
5. G-Senjou no Maou
6. Cross Channel
7. Sengoku Rance
8. ef - a fairy tale of the two
9. Maji de Watashi ni Koishinasai
10. Tsukihime (A remake would probably put it ahead of FSN)
Hard for me to compare older classics to newer games. I would say Clannad heroines (Yukine, Tomoyo, Kyou, Kotomi) are probably the most memorable, but I liked the themes in Little Busters more. Similarly with Tsukihime, but I think newer readers will be more amenable to the more polished graphics and interface of Fate.
1. Muv-Luv Alternative
2. Clannad
3. Ever17 -the out of infinity-
4. Cross† Channel
5. Fate/Stay Night
6. G-Senjou no Maou
7. Tsukihime
8. Hoshizora no Memoria
9. Little Busters!
10. Katawa Shoujo
Well I haven't played all that many VNs but here's my top 9 (essentially nothing else I've played stands out as much as these 9 so it would be pointless adding a sub-par tenth)
1. Steins;Gate
2. CROSS+CHANNEL
3. Little Busters!
4. Clannad
5. G-Senjou no Maou
6. The Muv-Luv trilogy (Extra+Unlimited+Alternative)
7. Rewrite
8. Fate/Stay Night
9. Da Capo[/h]
Fate/stay night
G-senjou no Maou
Saya no Uta
Ever17 -the out of infinity-
Muv-Luv Alternative
Steins;Gate
Utawarerumono
Little Busters! Finished 3/3 8
Osananajimi wa Daitouryou ~My girlfriend is the President.~ Finished 3/3 8
Rewrite
Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo
1. Muv-Luv Alternative (simply the best, no question; the culmination of 2 subpar VNs being used to set the stage)
2. Sharin no Kuni, Himawari no Shoujo (only VN I couldn't stop playing besides MLA)
3. Sengoku Rance (addictive SRPG with good and plentiful H-scenes)
4. Swan Song (aesthetically beautiful and underrated imo)
5. Steins;Gate (would've been top 3 if it had H-scenes, it's criminal for there not to be Kurisu H-scenes)
6. G-Senjou no Maou (not as good as Sharin, but not much worse; the difference is practically indistinguishable)
7. Fate/Stay Night (the gold standard for exciting still fight scenes)
8. Ever 17 -the out of infinity- (same as Steins;Gate)
9. Monmusu Quest 1&2 (quality of plot and art not good enough to put higher, but funny and charming despite its limitations)
10. Saya no Uta (excellent story, although short and simple)
Honorable Mention
Clannad (after-story is good, but too many long, uninteresting routes with unclear choices and no H-scenes)
Katawa Shoujo (definitely charming, but the plot and music are not adequate to put it above any of the top 10)
Utawarerumono (good, but not better than the top 10; ranking suffers from being an older game)
Eien no Aselia (fun gameplay, but plot is lacking and gameplay gets repetitive)
Kono Yo no Hate de Koi wo Utau Shoujo YU-NO (excellent plot, but incredibly frustrating gameplay makes walkthrough a necessity; lacks the quality of art and music found in newer games)
