[Locked] Fakku Top 10

I was thinking of making a [color=#9D0A0A]"Fakku! Recommends"[/color] thread for the VN-upload section that i'll sticky once it's done, so that all the newbies knows what to download to get off to a good start. It'll also have a a top 10 list based off the members recommendations, so everyone that feels like having an impact on the list plx post your top 5 visual novels/H-games. If you only got three games that you wanna recommend then do that, it doesn't ahve to be five games, but preferably. Also, since the majority of the Fakku users can't read or understand japanese this will be a translated VN's only list, or atleast partially translated with an active group working on it. I'll start things off. 1. Ever 17 -The Out of Infinity- 2. Fate/Stay Night 3. Utawarerumono 4. ChaoS;HEAd 5. Edelweiss Now don't go over five nominations, or give two games a tie for 1'st, that's just fuck things up, and if you can't chose flip a coin or something. I didn't wanna leave out VN's like Saya no Uta or Higurashi no naku Koro Ni, but life's a bitch. If you, like me, have a crappy memory and realize that you've forgotten some awesome VN and want to edit your list then that's fine, as long as it's before i've started making the Top 10 list. That's all, go.

I think ive decided to learn Japanese, I'm not doing much of anything right now and I would honestly love to learn (even knowing how hard it can be).

I'm just about to finish my 2nd semester of Japanese. I love it and it's not too hard to learn. The vocab and grammar itself is pretty easy once you know the rules. They almost always follow it unlike English. The hardest part for me is the kanji. Not so much recognizing and writing it as knowing both ways of reading it(on'yomi and kun'yomi). Unfortunately, I still don't know enough to read VNs. Hopefully another year and I'll be able to.

I played both Sengoku Rance and BBA some more lately, and I must say, BBA kinda fell for me. It has much better climate, and I like its lead more than Rance, but the gameplay kind of makes me bash my head against a wall sometimes.

Rance was much better thought out, though my initial fascination period prevented from seeing the truth.

Majin on the other hand was a true ensemble darkhorse. I downloaded the prologue patch and didn't count for much, but by the time I was through with it, I screamed for more.

Sengoku Rance captured my heart from the beginning and I have always considered it the best. I wish there were more translated Alicesoft games...

1. G- Senjou no Maou (my very first visual novel, a freaking tear jerker, best ending ever)
2. Fate/Stay Night (no need for reason, says i)
3. Utawarerumono (the best RPG system, without a doubt)
4. Saya no Uta (i think i'm a bit biased here, since i LOVE gore/horror/mystery kind of vns)
5. KiraKira n KiraKira CUrtain Calls (i consider this one vn because the story is linear, great story and great final ending)
