Originally i was going to take the top five from the qualifier only, but considering there was s three-way tie for fifth place between Portal2-Bastion-Batman:Arkham City, i thought i'd just throw them all in.

I liked batman arkham city the most.
Bf3, mw3, and skyrim were interesting, but I guess batman is the only one that I'm still playing today.

Skyward Sword, then Dark Souls, then Catherine, then Bastion. I like them best because they are very unique and innovative.
Skyrim, Batman, both are great, but they have happened before. Nothing new to their respective genres.

Did anyone expect Skyrim to not win? Honestly.

Even though I prefer Portal 2 over Skyrim, Skyrim just introduced an insane free world gameplay and definitely deserves GOTY.

It was a slightly tough one. Decided to go with Skryim in the end, definitely a great game that absorbed many hours of my life :).
But a lot of fun games Catherine (good story and pressure tower climbing), Batman (love beating up various thugs), Zelda (it's Zelda), etc. Great year for gaming.
