The game was out before vista was ever released so originally it's not compatible. If the patch says it supports it then maybe it does. Try setting the installer to vista if that option is on there. If not try one of the XP SP pack set ups, you might get lucky.
EDIT: Crusis Fatal + Fake works with vista.

mine wirks and its on vista but the problem is that it crashes just before they fight

crucis fatal fake froze before a fight too for me. but just update it to the newest version (113) and all is ok...

I just finished downloading so I don't have any info except that it installs.
Can't get it to work yet though. All I see in the game settings are question marks , but I'll work through it.

it may have something to do with comp specs, but in my case, it just closes, maybe after a single match, after some matches, and most of the time, i'll be tired of playing it before it randomly closes. and i believe that got nothing to do with specs since i've tried it on my friend's comp, which is 3.5GHz/8GB RAM and still, the random closing happens. i guess it's about bugs maybe...nothing can be done about that ( at least, i can't), just reopen it and play again....

ok i have the alpha game but can anyone tell me how do i get the dark saber char i think it was the update but the one i downloaded was in japanese so i have no idea what to do i did test it but i think i got an error T_T

Wasn't this at Otakon too? Along with Melty Blood and Arcana Heart 2 (which was removed for King of Fighters, much to my dismay).
