Favorite Video Game Genre?

So fakku what is your favorite Video game genre?

Mine is Racing games because i love cars,everything about them.I have other favorite genre's too but i like racing games the most.My 2 favorite racing games are Gran Turismo and Midnight club.

I'm not going to participate because there is no "All" choice.

Hmm, probably RPG. I love me both Japanese and Western style. Shooters are a close second though.

Really I enjoy anything with the exceptions of Racing and Sports. Well, I do like Mario Kart, but anything more serious than that is a snore for me, and Sports games is something I will never understand no matter how many people try to convince me how amazing FIFA and Madden games are.

I'm more into those horror survival games like Dead space or silent hill and i also like shooters like CoD or Halo.

Where is Survival Horror?

Well i think it doesn't fit there, but what the hell i know? :D

I say it does because they are still action/adventure just with the horror theme.

RPG is my favorite genre with shooter a close second, i like all genres and play a wide variety of games but i mainly focus on RPG and shooters.

then my vote goes there i guess, secondly i like Fighting games :D

My first gaming experience was in RPG golden era. Games like FF, Neverwinter Night and Suikoden are my first and most fav at this time.
So I pick RPG. Both Japanese and Western style.
Comes to second, it's Racing. Gran Turismo and Burnout series was my 'adrenaline drug'

I see there's still no one who picks Strategy. It's one of my fav though.

Action/Adventure, Fighting and RPG, in order for me.

In this order, my favorite genres are

1) CRPG
2) WRPG (this usually ties together with CRPGs, and I like these more than JRPGS since they usually involve the player being able to manipulate the story much more through choices, like in Mass Effect and The Witcher 2)
3) FPS
4) JRPG
5) Fighting

I prefer strategy games, games like the Command and Conquer and Warhammer 40,000 Dawn Of War series.

I practically play anything, but maybe RPG and Action games that I like Best.

RPGs for life.

RPG, Action Adventure (cuz Action/Adventure are two different genres) and Fighting, in that order I'd say. But I'm not sure, the genre isn't that important to me.
