Well I'm sure most of us have heard about the new fighting video game set for the PS3 and PS Vita that is going to combine the universes of several Weekly Shounen Jump manga series, including former series and some that have benn transferred to other magizines. Set to be released by Namco Bandai Games on March 19th 2014 in Japan it's looking to be pretty advanced and I for one am excited about this massive merger. But...
I do have some concerns about the choice of playable characters and support characters that are going to be available to the public. Now, I'm sure more characters will be released from now until the game's release but the fact that Namco is telling us select characters that I really didn't expect is surprising. Of course not all the characters from every manga will be on there but I'm starting to wonder if they'll make the right choices of who to put on and who not to put on. Just an example would be the two One Piece characters so far set to make apperances of playable characters. One, of course is Monkey D Luffy but the other surprisingly isn't Nami, Sanji, or even Zoro. In fact she's not even part of the crew. The character is Boa Handcock. Now I understand putting the chracters in that will make the most profit, but shouldn't the two most prominant charactrs be featured instead of a three arc character (make no mistake I love Boa as a character but still)? I'll post the wiki of the offical names of the playable and support characters below for you to scrutanize.
Basically, what are your feelings about the game and it's release (i'm assuming that this will be released in the US, Europe, and Aus.)? I just saw this online and wanted to see what others thought.
