[size=10]I can't believe no one has made a thread about FIFA, considering how famous the game is.[/h]

I created this thread because no one has actually created a thread about it, and to share experiences about playing the latest FIFA game, which is right now the FIFA 13.

The first thing I played in FIFA 13 was the Manager mode, managing my favourite team Manchester United, and successfully won all 4 possible cup in one season (Barclays PL, Capital One, FA Cup, and the holy Champions League).

So, how about you? Which mode did you play first? And which team is the best in your opinion?


FIFA 14!! I am expecting a lot from this game!

The first thing I'm gonna try is the manager mode of course, I love meddling around the transfer period and buy a few players and see how my team perform with the new players, and then try out the Player mode.

Quite some changes in the line up of every team, so I'm expecting changes in the stars of each team. I have to say, this season is gonna be a cracker one!

Managing a top flight team is cheating. Maybe after a few months, but I always start with a team in the lower divisions. I'm currently in my third season of a pro campaign with my creative goalscoring defensive midfielder. 74 rated and playing for Hamburg and England. Absolute beast.

Have you experienced the invisible ball glitch? I got it for the second time today.

I just felt like doing it for fun, but I'm sure I'll get bored of it and eventually start managing small teams such as Swansea City or West Bromwich Albion.

I'm not sure it has happened, but I've experienced when one of my players just flew off the pitch and got injured for colliding with one of the other players, I was just like dafuq?

Most played game at the moment. According to Origin, I've clocked 181 hours since its release. Mostly ultimate team. And yea, I play it on the pc.

Though, I've been constantly swapping Sessegnon with Taarabt and Gerrard because I'm not 100% satisfied with either of them. I think I need David Silva but he's way too costly. I also usually play Diaby instead of Arteta.

If I were you I'd get players from Dortmund, since they have got some nice Attacking Midfielders such as Reus or Goetze instead of Silva, he's not that great after all, I even prefer Shinji Kagawa over him.

Haha I had Kagawa in my starting packs when I bought the game but sold him. Making a BPL team wasn't in my plans back then. I find german teams to be extremely overpowered in this game. I always get beat when matched against them. Reus, Lewandowski and manzukic as a front 3 and Götze, gundogan in the midfield(4-3-1-2 / 4-3-2-1) piss all over my defense. As a result I get angry and play like shit trying to break them german legs. And no joke I see many players using this kind of team.

Image should work now. So I'm actually looking for a very agile CAM that's why I was thinking about Silva as he could partner Cazorla very well. Taarabt despite being a 5 star is slow as hell.

Oh and I had Cech in goal but someone somehow managed to break into my account and since then I don't have him anymore.

Kagawa and Persie was the best United purchase this season after all, Buttner is also showing that he is gonna replace Patrice Evra in the Starting XI.

I bought Hummels and Santana, since in my career Ferdinand is considering retirement so I need someone worthy to replace him, and Jones or Smalling is too young to be considered his replacement, and you know how Vidic got injured pretty easily.

Dortmund is the best German team IMO right now, since how they have such a young squad and still won the title twice.

Yay a fifa thread! I haven't bought Fifa 13 yet because i read that there must be a lot of bugs and problems with the unrealistic "Momentum". Is that true or is the game playable?



Just a tip: When you someone for your left midfield, buy Perisic or Großkreutz.
Both are very young and fast players and have a lot of talent. I don't know how good they are in this game but you could use them as a backup.

Well, so far, they haven't left me disappointed, so yeah it's playable.

And yep, I'm planning to buy Perisic, or some Left Midfield, since I'm selling Nani soon.

I've bought the game for a few days and after a few games it think it's better than FIFA 12.
I play only at Semi-Pro but i noticed that the opponents are playing clever than before. It has a lot of more modes to play online.
After playing some Friendly games i started a carrer with my new Pro. I just thought that i start with my favorite team but that would be boring.. So i chose a random country and a random team and so i started my first season in Australia by Brisbane Roar.
The start was really hard, i lost the first friendly game 4-1 against a Dutch Team.. But now i lead the league with 9 wins in 9 games. I'm in December now and i can't wait to finish my first season and move to another team.

I had a hard time beating Professional, so yeah the AI is actually has improved.
LOL Brisbane Roar? Since I live in Australia, I know how they perform, and they perform pretty well in the A-League.
What I can't wait for is the transfer season, so I can buy and sell players lol.

Haha Brisbane has actually a german player (Thomas Broich) in the team and he must be very sucessful in Australia.. He made a documentation about his former life in Germany and his life now in Australia.. I have to search for the title but I haven't seen it yet.

I love FIFA, practically all of my mates play it. I always start with some bottom-feeder in the English league, like right now I'm bringing Wimbledon back to English League glory! I'm only in League One, but it's a start.

I have a block as Man Utd, and my main team is:

GK: Casillas, De Gea, Valdez
DF: Marcello, Ramos, Pique, Evra, Ashley Cole, Walker, Ferdinand, Vidic
MF: Scholes, Ronaldo, Cleverly, Ribery, Bale, Fellaini, Alonso, Xavi, Iniesta, Carrick, Kagawa, Cazorla, Götze, Robben, me
FW: Rooney, van Persie, Villa, Falcao, Higuain, Ibrahimovic, Lewandowski.

I'm really having troube remembering the rest. I don't play that one a lot, if you start with a rich team then superstars come so easily.

Wimbledon are fun to use, best player I have is Nando Rafael from Fortuna Dusseldorf, he's still shit.

Got Shürlle and Reus in a pack. Time to make that Bundesliga team I so loathe.

Would love mueller, and götze. Don't have the means to get them at the moment but surely in the future I'll try.

I've finished my first saison with Brisbane Roar and i've won the A-League! :D
My Virtual Pro was voted for the player of the season and i wanted to leave the club but then that shitty manager sold Broich to a french club..
So i stay at Brisbane for another year and win the A-League again..

If I were to choose, I'd go for Goetze.



LOL good luck with that. A-League is okay, I like it.
But I don't watch nor play their teams as much as I do for Man Utd.
