Final Fantasy XII

I see.

Second time I played this game, my PC had a bad Graphics card, but it was still able to play it. Just that it lagged a lot and that every scenes weren't properly created due to poor performance of the graphics card, this excludes the special cut-scenes, of course.

BUT I STILL BEAT THE GAME, like a boss. Currently I have a better graphics card, so if I do start playing... it should work better.

wow that about coincidence or talk about coincidence. I started playing this game again for the first time in 5-6 years just a few days ago. What are the odds this thread be made the exact day I start a new game after nearly 6 years.

Anyway havent gotten much done. I'm at king raithwalls tomb entrance. party average is about level 16

Trust me I have tried, the game gets to the start screen and then freezes, then proceedes to blackscreen and i have to force shutdown my computer. It wont kill me to wait 2 weeks to get my game back :P

Thats insane! I have been a frequent user of Fakku for about 3 years and up until recently I have decided to use the forums and the place I felt where I could start off would be video games. Checked to see if there was a FFXII thread and was dissapointed that there wasnt so here it is.

16? My characters were like 19 the last time I played. I remember trying to get that demon sword that is in a treasure box inside that place lol.

I should probably start playing this again in a day or two.

I spent 3 days trying to get that sword my party was at lvl 14 with the exception of vaan being at 16. I died so many times but I really wanted the sword.


A few hours after I went through the tomb I find a better sword in a shop just to find out i wasted my time XD

I remember the first time in the Yam Yensa Sandsea i saw that giant fireball looking thing (completely forgot the name and i let my buddy borrow the game guide i have lol) i equiped vaan with the bracelet that gives you libra. i looked at its stats and almost shit myself when i saw it was a lvl 50.

I was like fuck that im out of here, ran into some of those sand people though I casted cura and then my whole party died in 5 seconds........ ahhh good times :D

I could never get the zodiac spear. Always forgetting what chests not to open.

I loved that damn spear made killing yiazmat a blessing, Balthier has zodiac spear, vaan had masamune and penelo sat back and spammed curaja, dispel and a few other spells for about 8 hours..... man that was fun.


I remember that there was this one mine in the game you had to go through a long ass maze and in a certain spot you could get the zodiac spear multiple times (but the chances were low to get the spear, all i got were knots of rust and crap like that) but after about 20 tries i gave up ~_~

Never bothered with Zodiac Spear, but I had the Shield IIRC. I remember how I fought the last battle of Gilgamesh very early and somehow managed to beat him, then got the Masamune. It was all worth it.

I just have good reflexes and got insanely lucky with the quickening.

I never used quickenings or damage spells for the later portions of the game but instead went gung-ho with vaan equipped with masamune and genji gloves, penelo casted hasteaga, berzerk and reverse on him, i sat back and watched as mobs got wrecked

Last played this game around April, I think.

Had about 200+hours put into it. Then I deleted the file and started fresh from scratch.

As a kid I stopped before I could fight the Hell Wyrm. My new goal is to defeat every monster up to yazmat and max level and license board with best possible gear. Then I will feel as if I truly beat it

What about Omega Mark 12?

I believe I beat it. In the American version, however, it only had 1 million hp.

Looked up on wiki and read that he was an optional, I tried getting to him on several occaisions but to no avail

Then prepare for perhaps the longest quest yet. Getting best equipment is a long and tedious posses in FF12
