when you want to load the ask "load data 1?"
and there's an option yes or no
the box disappear before i can say yes..
no one have similar problem?

The box before you can choose, but it choose automatically yes or no? I am assuming it's no since you said you can't load.
Just make a backup of the savefiles and reinstall the game, if you still get the error probably something with the saves.

Just got it ready... can't wait to play! I hope it's as good as F/SN... the one game I picked up because I thought it was an eroge, but once it got to the eroge scenes, I could have cared less because I wanted to get back to the story. XD

You need APPLOCALE to run this, even with the english patch.

or change your unicode settings to JApanese. :D

This is not an official licensed game of course it's region locked for Japan.

I'd pm the guy if I had faith he'd be able to navigate to it... anyway, he's just saying he can't understand what's on the site (this site or the TLWiki, I have no clue) and I just responded with questioning his logic. And yes, it's simplified Chinese.

First off, APPLOCALE is for XP, I am running Vista (please don't hate me for using it :P). Secondly, I already changed the unicode settings to Japanese, which allowed me to apply the English patch and get rid of the syntax error. Is it cause I run Vista? :S

So, you're saying you've already changed the unicode settings to Japanese and still got the error?

Ok I found the problem, I changed the unicode setting after installing, which made it not work as it seems.

FOR EVERYONE: FIRST change the unicode settings THEN install the game, or it wont work.

Extract the parts with WinRar/ 7Zip
Mount with Daemon Tools
Install
Apply patch

and make sure your regional settings/ non-Unicode program language are in Japanese.

It shouldn't display gibberish if you had changed your regional settings properly.
If you are using XP make sure to change the 3 tabs of regional settings to japanese, reboot the pc first and try to install again (first delete the previous installation)

Wow this is really one of the best visual novel i played. I also love how Lelouch voice actor played the role of Maou. It was perfect. The suspense and plot twist were really something.
