This fits more with "that should've been" made. Smash Brothers DS. From here I'll go wtih a Smash Brothers on Nintendo's next generation portable.

This has already been said but(ahem)...a sonic game that doesn't suck.(ZING!)
Seriously Sonic was the first video game character I followed ( I owned a Genesis while my friends owned a super nintendo. They would mock me and say "Want to borrow Super Mario?" I would respond "Nah I don't think he'd look good in 16 bits..."). It took me a while to finally acknowledge that he sucks now.(Also Super Mario World kicks ass...)
A crash Bandicoot game that doesn't suck.(Crash and Cloud were the Characters I followed on playstation). Lulz Final Fantasy 7...so overrated(I used to be a total fanboy...)
Capcom Vs Snk 3 (Capcom Vs Snk 2 still owns to this day...hell street fighter alpha3 still owns too)
Marvel Vs Capcom 3...(Nevermind they'll just fuck it up like they did with marvel vs capcom 2...yeah I said it)
A Street Fighter that finally lives up too number two(I doubt this will ever happen. Just look at street fighter iv...ZING)
Oh almost forgot...
A good King Of Fighters game...not passable like 11.(I'm not even asking for a great game. 2002 was a good game. Remake that with actual music and you have a great game!)
