It honestly doesn't bother me when female gamers do those sorts of things. It's generally for a reason and not always attention whoring. In FFXI my friend played a mithra and just never mentioned his gender to anyone. He'd get hit on constantly and get gil, items, and overall better treatment from people.
Exploiting one's sex is a viable tactic in a plethora of areas. You can distract someone, piss them off, be dismissed as a non-threat, intimidate people. Any edge you can get over someone psychologically is a good start to any game.
The people doing it purely for the attention are annoying, mostly because they tend to suck and be a hindrance.

But the real reason is because I want to be a pretty girl.

plus their boobs get in the way of holding the controller the right way.

While there are a lot of girl gamers, there are very few girl fighting gamers, at least those who can play competently. When one sees a girl who can play well, it is always a surprise and people are always cheering those people on.

I like "girl gamers" a lot because you can wind them the fuck up so easily and they get in such a tizz over things that it just makes you laugh so hard!
There was this chick(Trap?) on BFBC2 who was blasting me with an MG3 (Finger on the trigger non stop, Full 100 round belt, Lol~) so I skipped 'round a building then through the rubble and stabbed her in the throat then she send me a Rrrrrrrrrrrrrage message calling me a filthy cunt ETC ETC.
Think her name was something like LETHAL_WOMAN, Bloody HILARIOUS!!! (Nice gold tags they were too) :D
