Anyone have any spoiler free opinions?
I'd like to know some opinions from the players too, I downloaded this out of curiosity, hoping it would be another pleasant surprise like G-Senjou no Maou was, but unfortunately I haven't started it yet. Too much World of Tanks. :V

So I finished Grisaia no Kajitsu. Most of the humor is hilarious so it was quite pleasant to read for long periods of time. Some of the content is on the Sci-Fi side of things (Michiru's route), but it's a minor dissatisfaction if a dissatisfaction at all.
I read some reviews about how the overarching story is lacking, and I would have to agree. I think the thought process on making this VN was to introduce the characters in this first game, and then continue the overarching story in the later games. After finishing the first game I'm left wanting more. Unfortunately, I doubt it'd be as pleasant to read the other games with a text-hook and machine translations.
So should you pick it up? Yea, it's worth getting introduced to the characters and their individual plots. The overarching story is brushed up on, but never detailed in any concrete way - a good way to build hype. If you can stand that type of tease, then start reading.
All the character routes have a conclusive ending similar to G-Senjou no Maou, but the key differences between the two is that Grisaia doesn't have a "true route", or what I like to call overarching story - at least not in the first game. G-Senjou no Maou has a bit of detective fiction where Grisaia does not, but they both have a good balance between humor and seriousness.
