That's cool but isn't all shooting games like COD, Halo and Battlefield have the same thing in common in terms of multiplayer? COD has zombies, Halo has flood and I don't know about battlefield.
Battlefield you can ride vehicles like jet and tanks, Halo you can ride Mantis, Tanks. So in a sense I find multiplayer the same in all this games. The thing that interest me about Halo more than COD is the story. It pulls me in more than COD or Battlefield ever could - especially since I'm a big sci-fan fan.
The difference in Battlefield 3 is that the multiplayer is based on large scale combat where teamwork is strongly encouraged. Halo and COD focus more on faster paced, small-scale combat where it's possible to go lone wolf without much risk. Basically the biggest difference is the flow and scale of combat.
I would say that Halo 4 is the most balanced. The loadouts and ordinance drops aren't gamebreaking and I really enjoy the random weapon drops, which reduces camping. In BF3 a lot of people can more or less buy their way to victory via DLC weapons and shortcut packs, something that really put me off and got me to stop playing before long. And while I don't necessarily hate COD, it just seems to me that balance is completely forgone with most of the killstreaks and overpowered weapons, which can more or less win the game for you.
