As far as I know it wasn't released a voice patch for Higurashi.
But trust me, you won't miss the voices during your read because Higurashi is just that awesome lol However, it's true that voices may enhance the experience.

Btw, I think that the team that is currently tweaking Umineko said some time ago that they may work on creating a voice patch for Higurashi. However, note that there isn't any confirmation that they will indeed work on a patch.

The BGM for the sound novel is really nice, does anyone have a working link for the OST (if one for the sound novel exist)? I tried searching for them myself, but all of them are dead filesharing links (like Megaupload) or links for the anime OST. :V

No. The PS2 sprites and all add-ons I included are not included in the official release since they're un-official patches. The hard-copy version mangagamer sells has the original graphics and some BGM changes since they weren't able to get licenses to all tracks.

If you download the links I posted you don't need to do nothing except running the game. If you want to patch the original game you'll need the patches for each Arc / EP.

Amorim, I'm having some problems with your links... When I try to download the game (ep1-4), the hosting website gives me a "connecting" message for quite some time but the download doesn't start...until the dreaded "404 Not Found" pops in... Tried in 2 different PCs with different internet connections but the result was the same.

Edit: When I retry it says I'm already downloading from this ip... :S

Replaced the Higurashi no Naku Koro ni link with one on MEGA. Try again.

hmm i been reading the manga now, whats the difference b/t the manga and the VN?

Just tested it myself and the 4th chapter appears. At least, using the files I uploaded.
Check if you already read the "All-cast Review Session". If you already read it go to the "Unlock Previous Chapters" and unlock all chapters. You can find the options I said on the "EXTRA" menu on the start screen.

After this just select "START" and you should see the Himatsubushi chapter on the bottom of the screen.

How do you set the game to auto read mode? Have tried every keys to no avail? ;_;
