i cant post on hongfires forums coz im not a member and yeah its a great little game im after the patches coz i want to enjoy the story as well

What kaen is trying to say is that some of the patches on the hongfire site require you to be a member of the forum, which under normal circumstnace would not be a problem- except that when you try to register a new account, it gives an error message, derailing the process before you can even begin. I cannot remember the exact error message at the moment, and unfortunately do not have time to go check right now, but as it stands it is impossible to register as a member on the Hongfire forum, which makes it impossible to get any of their early translation patches.

Run the setup from there...

Just Mount the Home Mate.ISO not extract it by WINRAR...
Run the setup from there...
i know this sounds stupid, but how do you mount it? Its still in the .rar files and its in parts.
After u unrar the parts u downloaded u must have an .ISO and a .MDS file in a folder named @HomeMate.
Install Deamon tools and run it. When appear an icon on the toolbar (a white circle with a spark on) click with the left button of the mouse on it and choose "Device 0: no image mounted", then search for the @Homemate folder and choose the .ISO file. Now go on Computer resourches and here u have the HomeMate disc as u have it in your CD driver^^
I hope my bad english is understandable -.-
Now my problem. When I run the setup, after all the choice, before it starts installing appear this and then it force me to exit the setup -.-

i believe that is the same bit that i got stuck on, even without mounting it and such the same problem occurs.

Mmh, I think yours is a different kind of problem. Use Daemon tools is better that unrar an iso^^
Btw, honestly I don't know why, but I tried for the fourth time to install it running the setup with AppLocale and it works *_*
