I had high expectations about this game anyways, but still...
I heard this game had a decent lasting Multiplayer until Battle field 3 comes out.

-Terms of Story, Most shooters are about 5-7 hours anyways... So don't even go there.

-Graphics Aren't everything, heard some of the Drones/Vehicles are actually fun to use.

Hmmm what else... COD Fanboys will be disappointed because its not call of duty and shit on it if it Was like Call of duty. So there is no pleasing in the crowd

I won't say anything about story(obviously it's made only for Americans)
So let's skip the story part, cause story in Red Dawn 2 AKA Homefront is the same as Red Dawn movie, only with even more pathetic patriotic whining, but oh well.

Gameplay is... well it's so-so.
HF is similar to Fail of Honor: Modern Warfare Failed Clone, but somehow manages to look(and play) even weaker.
There ARE some good scenes though(not impressive, just good) but it's definitely not enough.

Next up, about promised features(at least this is how it was advertised over here):
Where's the "Drama Engine"? It's scripted right from beginning 'till the end, with absolutely no variety. Enemies pop up only at scripted places, their numbers is always the same, waypoints, etc. "Always in the action"? Yeah right. You can wander off somewhere quiet even when radio chatter screams Okay, let's just say there's no such a thing.
"New futuristic weaponry straight from Pentagon"? LOLWUT? Like i didn't knew about ACR? Or what, that "Goliath" thing? Pfft, don't make me laugh.
"Cinematographic action with absolutely new story" Uh-huh. As new as "Tomorrow, When the War Began" rip-off from Red Dawn. Oh, and sorry if i missed some ripped off intro.
and some more silly things like "RC Drones - small as a toy, but very deadly

Ugh.
If you want some good FPS, you might just reinstall COD4MW or COD6MW2. Pretty much the same, bad Reds, good Amers, only with better graphics and gameplay. I mean it.

P.S. BTW, this "game" is bugged as fuck. LOT of sound problems, scripts sometimes won't work and much-much more.
Aside from sound being just bad. For example M4 sounds like a toy gun. And footsteps are "snow footsteps" from Half-Life.

I agree there are ALOT of bugs but when the gameplay is good and the round last for the whole time without a server fail...this game is amazing.

This is a horrible game and none of you should play it.

Okay so homefront isn't completely horrid... it is bad though. They online to me is something nice for a change. There are 4 game types Ground Control which is the 32 player online which to me is nice because its fucking balanced for once.. the game can always come back. a plus is if your not a great shooter you can play the support role of the team and recon everything. With what they call a uav parrot drone. And u pretty much shoot the position of an enemy and it marks him for the team to see as they capture points.

Deathmatch as always filled with camping bitches noobs. Decent I guess

oh did I mention they also did the online gaming code like dead space 2 -_- but it let's you get a max level of 5

Question: I have some Graphical Problems, I don't possess a HD TV and the Graphics look so fucking Choppy its horrid - To go with The Framerate Issues I'm having.
Is there a way to fix this?

So far I'm not enjoying the story, I'm actually don't give a shit about it...

I haven't tried Multiplayer yet, but I heard thats probably the most decent thing about this game...

Well I played at my friends house on their 1080p tv and it looked like shit on my 720 it looked much better >.> idk why but the server are still plauged with errors and game dropouts...I still stand when I say the multi is amazing if not for the servers...also this game is just a filler until BF3...also I'm planning to buy bfbc2 back and get the vietnam dlc also

I mostly only bought this game because of the story and the fact that Black Ops was starting to get a little boring but now I wish I kept Black Ops.

The multiplayer is alright..It's just so annoying that like..Over 50% of the people you fight against online use snipers.
The campaign was pretty disappointing. It was good while it lasted but it ends way to quickly. I thought I was going to keep playing until America was back in American hands but nope.
The graphics..There was this one part in the campaign that made me lol. A character's body like..Didn't load properly and he looked like a body bag and after about 10 seconds his correct model loaded in.

So Yeah I finished Homefront... Why did the story just Hang there?
