EDIT: Since many people seem to be asking the question whether there are hentai scenes in the game I thought I'd answer: There are NO hentai scenes in this game. I promised a while back I would upload this game and here it is! Plot: The story revolves around a Japanese sophomore named Kotaro Makimura. As the school year ends and summer vacation approaches, he decides to admit his feelings to his crush, the beautiful Kaho Serizawa. As hopeless as the situation looks to his best friends Ai and Takeshi, he is determined to make Kaho his girlfriend by the end of summer vacation. However, on his way home, he has a collision with a mysterious stranger, and ends up getting covered in a strange multi-colored powder. When he wakes up the next day, he finds himself waking up on September 1st - the first day of the next school year. He also learns that Kaho, who had been his girlfriend, had died in a car accident. Eventually, Kotaro discovers that he has begun day-dropping, in which he skips days, and goes back and forth in time through different days of the summer vacation. With the help of Ligene the Time Patroller (also translated as Lee Jane), Kotaro must win Kaho's heart and prevent her tragic death before he runs out of time. Although Kaho is the girl that Kotaro aspires for at the beginning of the game, the player can choose different decisions that will eventually lead him to relationships with one of the other four girls. Of course, the wrong decisions could result in an ending in which Kotaro wins the affections of none of them. Although the objective of the game is to become the boyfriend of one of the girls, some of these other endings can be the only way to view certain images not found in the other paths. After you have downloaded all the files, you just have to compile it into one folder and click the VIDEO_TS.IFO file and it should start playing in your prefered media player. I was able to get it to work by remaking it into a iso. What I did was dl a iso creater (I used ISO recorder), name the folder with all the files VIDEO_TS and also made an empty folder called AUDIO_TS, then put those two into another folder called Hourglass of Summer or whatever you want and then made a iso of that. So far it seems to work now.

Umm i'm having the same trouble
could someone tell me how to make it works smoothly?
mine is already in a iso file, but when i tried to mount it,it always opened in WMP...

It was first released as a non-eroge title, but was later re-released with H elements added. I wouldn't worry too much about trying to look for that version, as the H-art added was far less in visually quality than the rest of the novel and did nothing to improve the experience.

Consider this the best version out there.

one thing, Do you have to extract all the files first and then click the iso file or do you only have to extract part 1 and the rest will extract on their own.

OMG I was trying to mess open the files on a few different players and only Windows Media Player worked. Then after a few more times of trying my subs disappered. My subs turned Japanese... AHHH!!! I just deleted it too.

EDIT: thats weird after like 7 choices it turns back to english

I've had this game for a while now and the cg of Ai in a maid outfit is annoying the hell out of me because it doesn't feel right to unlock it without finding it and i cant find it..

Well I finally got it running
Had to copy it over to Vista to get it to run
XP said it would not run on media player as the codexs were missing (I have identical codex on both)

Now the problem is:
Either:
I am missing a ton of translated text (I know you can say "Hai" in less than two hundred words and in less than 90 seconds and whatever "can you help" me in Japanese should not take 3 minutes and two changes of screens
Also there are portions that run on with no text at all

or
The translator only translated one word in a hundred or so (the next text has in many cases nothing to do with the previous)

or
I am going to have to learn Japanese to enjoy this game (this will cut deeply in my Russian lessons)

or
I am going to have to give up on the game (Pity as it looks cute)

Overall a very well made game with excellent graphics and story line that I cannot read

I'm using fantasydvd to run the ifo file but for some reason, I'm getting Japanese subtitles instead of English. I went to configuration and changed it to English subtitles but it was still in Japanese subs. Any solution to this problem?

Which version did you download? If it's the torrent version you have to extract the ISO in order for the subs to play correctly. Otherwise, it may be fantasydvd's problem so get a different media player and if all else fails use WMP.

I never thought I'll experience lag when reading visual novels o_O.

EDIT: Let me confirm this. First create an ISO file out of the extracted stuff. Then we extract from the ISO to a folder and run it like usual?

I too, am experiencing problems with the subs lagging at the first line at the beginning. ( Tried playing the DVD using VLC and WMP )

Next, I went on to converting it to an ISO as another fakku member advised, only to run into the same problem later on.

Has anyone found a solution / ideal program ?

Edit : I've found that Cyberlink Power DVD 9 works perfectly in running the DVD, so my problem's solved.

I seem to have a problem.
whatever player I'm using, it stops at the end of date 8/04, and I can't seem to fix it. T_T
