HOW COULD THEY?!?!?!

Depends on what you view a shit game as. IMO nintendo games are getting ridiculous now a days with mario zelda etc. FF games at least have different characters except the ones that are related to each other and a different plot. But mario games use the same formula for WAY to long. Princess gets caught mario has to save her. How many times can one person get caught? Zelda games have the same problem. I'm not saying i hate mario or zelda. Galaxy was pretty fun but at the same time i thought to my self that this is getting pretty goddamn ridiculous putting mario in space. Just come the fuck on nintendo let that horse die. But they won't cause its the same thing with FF games that as long as the fan base is willing to buy the stuff nintendo and square will continue to make.

Mario games have never been known for their story, and that's fine. It's gameplay that matters with the Mario games. The story is secondary. As for the Zelda games, they have been doing a lot of different things with the story. Check out some topic around here about the timeline of Zelda for more talk about how complicated the story is.

Anyways, I'm not complaining about Square-Enix making Final Fantasy games. I'm fine with that. The problem is that they keep making games based on Final Fantasy VII, a single game.



I've been tired of the Pokemon games for years, so I'm all for getting rid of that series.

You want Nintendo to get rid of the second best selling series of all time? Nope, not gonna happen.

All video game companies are a business. As long as their games keep selling, they're gonna keep making them. Also, people buy them for a reason. It's not like their horrible abominations or something.
