ya, same thing here, it's probably something to do with the translation or maybe most of the sound files were removed from the game for a smaller upload/download.
either way it didn't really bother me, I usually turn down BGM to near 0 on these games anyway. Most have very little appeal or even quality mood setting. Akin to your typical 90's pr0n music :P

I heard this game has a sad ending, so basically what I was wondering is if there are multiple endings, like a True ending, and then a happy ending?

This is going to be a stupid question....or a problem caused by me some where along the process. But I downloaded part 1 and 2, extracted them. Mounted the CCD file. But when I go to execute the install it tells me "Can not copy the file". Now I checked to make sure everything had the proper access and that the files weren't read only and that was all good....So...Anyone know what I'm doing wrong? I know I've had this problem on a few others as well...
is this problem resolved already? If so , how? I have the same probs except that i'm using WinXP . Help? I downloaded this game for half a day lol...

I played this game entirely without sound. It didn't bother me, as I wanted to listen to the Rozen Maiden OST which I downloaded recently anyhow, and it somehow turned out to be a great background for Kana.
About the game itself- quoting Nagato from Haruhi-chan- "It was an emotional game." It not as good as the Key games (because it is impossible to create a game better than Clannad or Kanon), but I'd give it the first place when talking about the other. I didn't like the art, I didn't like the translation (too colloquial in my opinion, although I don't know the original work), but the story itself is truely pure dead brilliant. It's so great it makes me want to learn new superlative words to describe it ;)

okay i know this may be a stupid questioon but is this game censored or non-censored i'm just wondering cause looks like good game but i have like 4 other games i want to play along with this one and i am only going to play this one now instead of later if it is non-censored so just wondering. any help would be appreciated.

thanks i am new to visual novels so i did not know that licensed meant uncensored. the first one i ever did was wanko to kuraso when it was on the main page since then i have been playing them almost nonstop.

im playin a visual novel for the first time and imhaving a problem with it. i just downloaded the file and installed it and everything. But when i click on the icon in the desktop, all it shows is a tiny white square and then it disapears, i tried reinstallin it but it still wont work.
whats the problem? maybe i incorectly put the wrong files in order. plz help i really want to play this game.

dunno if it helps, but i had the "can't copy files" problem with vista too and got it working. i mounted the iso and then opened the kana folder. then i just opened kanaust as admin and while installing there was no problem anymore. ye...
