Stumbled across this game and thought I'd share it.
The premise of the game? Build rockets and launch your Kerbal Crew into space. It sounds easy, but building the right ship can be tricky. Or, you can just dick around.
The game itself is very early in its development cycle and is free to download and play at the moment.
Future updates will include more ship parts, the ability to build space station, land on planets and multiplayer!

I can't stop playing. Normally I'd say this is a good thing but I just spent a lot of money on the steam sale. Would it be in bad taste if I called one of my ships "The Challenger mk III" (don't ask about mk II... that was a sad moment for myself and my... team of engineers)

Just remember you can not surpass 205636 meters per second (740289.6 kilometers an hour), and the distance resets to 0 when you hit 999999 kilometers

I made it into space (76,000 Meters) but I couldnt escape Earths gravity! NoOoOoOoOoOoOoOo... (Good thing though 'cause I had no fuel left for the return journey) :S
