Killing Floor

Killing Floor was originally a Unreal Tournament 3 Mod. It kinda works like Left 4 Dead survival with a few changes. This is a 6 man coop game surviving up to 10 rounds ( Long mode ). There are nearly 20 type of weapons and 6 perks. These perks will give you special abilities and perform better with a certain type of weapon. For example I took the berzerk perk, which enables me to run faster, get discount off melee weapon, more damage with melee weapon, 5% resist to all damage, and immune to all type of special abilities the monsters have,etc. You level up those perks and they become stronger and better. What different from L4D is that its not a ''From A go to B then C''. Your in an arena type map ( Like survival but ALOT bigger),you can close doors so that you force enemies to come out of 1 area for easier kills ( make sure you fix the door a couple of times) and each round a merchant randomly pop in the map. You have about 1min 30seconds to run there buy what you need and get ready for the next round. I mostly played Easy mode, and to be honest,it fucking easy. I had my chainsaw and was beating the shit out of everything solo( except the stronger monsters ) without taking any damage. But once I got to medium difficulty, not only did the number of things to kill go seriously up ( Final round easy = 120 - Second round ( out of 10) medium = 140 ) The monsters hurted ALOT more, and seriously died instantly because we were unorganized. At the end of the final round, there a boss round. If you don't kill him faster enough, alot of zombies also swarms you. Oh and there like 12 type of monsters - and the ones that are invisible are fucking BITCHES! There's like 6 maps and the graphics are not crysis quality. Its dated graph, but it doesn't bother me It cost 20$, if you already have L4D you might want to skip it, but I like the game. There's a few bugs since this is was created by a small studio, but things will get fixed. Is it worth it? Maybe, if you got money to spend. If your on a tight budget, save your money and get a better - AAA game that coming out in fall. But i'll be playing a little bit of it,so add me on steam if you want to team up.

It's both. It's a mod for unreal tournament 3 and a game. It's on sale on steam now. So it's like 5$
