Personally, I think all of these past and current cries for boycott of game X because the developers didn't follow the outlandish wish Y of vocal fanboy retard minority Z are naught but an endless source of amusement for both me and Valve.
So what if 25.000 slack-jawed ninnies pretend they're going to boycott it? 20.000 of those are probably going to end up buying it anyways, and even if not, 25.000 sales more or less are
nothing to an A-title like L4D (
2.5 million units sold by end of March
in retail alone).
It's okay not to buy the game if you don't like it, but making a whiny, attention-whoring sobfest about it is nothing short of risible. What are they going to do next? Start an online petition?

Disclaimer: I'm not a Valve fanboy.
in fact, I am not a fanboy of any CORPORATION, seeing how the basic premise of a corporation is to make as much profit off you for as little value in return - i.e. to rip you off.
Disclaimer: I'm not an L4D fanboy either.
Personally, I didn't buy L4D, nor do I plan to buy L4D2 because it's not to my liking.
