Lets plays anyone?

So, I'm a good friend of Sabers Praetor and we plan on doing some Lets plays together. I usually do lets plays here and there and was curious if it's allowed to share our wonderful gaming journeys here with the rest of you. If not, I understand, I'm not trying to push anything on here.

Damn we have wonderful gaming journeys and no one told me.

I believe Let's Plays are a new kind of topic for this section. You're not really advertising products or a service, so if you keep all the videos in this thread there shouldn't be much of a problem. If people give a shit, the thread's development will come naturally.

The only foreseeable problem I can think of is playing a game that already has its own thread.

I want to join and add some cuteness to the lets play! (and for Sabers sexy hair.)

I see I see, I didn't know if Lets plays would be considered an "advertisement" of sorts so I didn't want to go "OH HEY GUYS CHECK THIS OUT!" and then get yelled at. I figured I'd ask first and figured this would be an ok section. If it becomes a burden I completely understand. I'm not out to hinder anyone or anything. Just pure fun is all.

go ahead shinzumaki i wouldn't mind watching some fellow fakkuza members play games should make for some entertainment at least. Also doing this has made me realize my voice sounds odd.

I'm definitely onboard for this idea. I'd love to shed some commentary/videos with anyone.

Watched the first minute then skipped around to the end. Turn the game volume down. If your voices and game volume are inseparable during editing, then you're just going to have to figure that shit out like I was supposed to after uploading Borderlands 2 gameplay where I essentially show off how master race the PC is. Apparently some people use Audacity, but I'm constantly paranoid about syncing the audio with the video.

I'm using bandicam, and the game doesn't have a "volume" bar. The bad part about it is that the mic is recording everything pretty low. I'm using a Blue snowball mic.
I don't use fraps, and never will, I have another program that records other games like crysis and what not but I'll have to use audacity for that.

It's a lot better than what I used to have for recording.

I can probably join depending on the game and time.

I know Art and Psy made a similar thing.



You can change the game volume in editing softwares. Just remember to have your voices in a separate file.

I'm a little in the dark here. Are you asking me if I want you join you and Saber for Let's Plays, or are you asking if I'd like the idea of you making threads about your and Saber's Let's Plays?

If you're asking if I want to join you and Saber for Annual Let's Plays: I'd rather pass, thank you.
If you're asking if I think it's cool to make thread(s) about your collab Let's Plays: If it's either 1 thread, or had its own section, I wouldn't care.

Well, it was more of an offer to everyone who is interested.
It clears up both answers though.

I'm mainly concerned if the lets play topic was going to be a burden more than just enjoyable.

If it was its own topic, or one centralized thread, I would not mind it.
I don't know if I fit into the interested or not category. I love playing games online with my friends, but I don't like recording it.
I'll occasionally record something and throw it up on my channel, but I usually just don't like recording stuff we play.
But that is just me, you can do whatever you want.

I understand, I'm glad you don't have any issues with me throwing this thread up. I don't plan on spamming this everywhere or even in the same thread. I just hope to do something entertaining for others.

Well I have some extra time off from the evening of the 5th to the evening of the 11th of June so if anyone is in for some lets plays with ghost and I during that time let us know and feel free to suggest games also.
