I really want to give this a try. Saw people complaining about it being a hipster game and not being the next FF VII but if we don't give new IP a try, the industry will just become even shitter.
Don't know about people, but I get a Last Of Us vibe from this.

fyi, it's only being published by SE. Dontnod is developing it, which is the studio that released "Remember Me".

oh yeah, I know square is just the publisher. but it doesn't stop idiots from raging at it not being VII in any page that mentions this game.

I don't understand why anyone would complain about Life Is Strange. It looks really neat, and at least Dontnod added the twist of rewinding time to mix up the adventure formula. I was a fan of Remember Me's aesthetics and ambition, so it's interesting to see the studio go for something more grounded and gentle looking. Besides, I feel like I could be burnt out on those action-packed blockbusters, so I'm definitely in the mood for a Sundance/Tribeca/indie/hipster-derivative game.

Not gonna buy a season pass for a game that hasn't released all of its episodes yet though, since episodic release dates aren't set in stone. So I'll just buy episode one by itself and see where it goes.

I might give it a try, but not a huge fan of the episode type style for games. I mean I rather have the whole game and complete start to finish in my time instead of having to wait for next episode to be released.

Song choice for this was great. This is one of those times where a story and a trailer sell me. Great decision making for this will definitely check it out. Bothers me how the comments section is flooded with "Gone Home, not buying" but nobody sees the "IGN" following it.

Was thinking the same, it does give a little Last of Us vibe, and i do hope it has as rich story as LoU did. Don't really need that much action.

"plenty of potential" "like a Steven king novel" descriptions that just fill me up will excitement for the game. Im sorry but the game doesn't sound that great, it looks interesting and im looking forward to seeing how it does, but the trailer just didnt catch me.

Started playing with 0 knowledge regarding the plot, just witnessed the bathroom scene and oh boy I feel like this is gonna be gud.

Wasn't feeling it. Might get good later on but I guess the genre isn't for me.

Im eagerly waiting for march now to see how this continues.
I really love the concept and even more the soundtrack from LiS :D

I haven't finished it yet, but I agree about the soundtrack. I've just entered the dorms to retrieve a flash drive or whatever. I really like how they incorporated the soundtrack music with the headphones she wears.

I'm intrigued by the Amber flyers/case. Guessing that will ultimately tie in with the story somehow.

I played the first Episode and loved it. It definitely has that Telltale games feel with the choice based system and all.

I didn't let Kate die, I tried to save her but she jumped anyways. I couldn't rewind and I guess I picked the wrong choice.

I wanted to save Kate, but didnt pick the right choices =(
