Magical battle arena ( non-H) *

Anime Toshokan 2009 1st doujin game release for the new year. A 3d fiting game developed by Fly-system. This game features various characters from anime and visual novels, now a lyrical pack (expansion) is released and it adds 3 new characters and 1 new game mode to the original game. U can also play with others thru the net battle system (tested it myself and it works great).



The link includes 2 ISO (magical battle arena ISO and lyrical pack ISO) and all the game patches. To apply the patches, juz extract the the patches to the magical battle arena folder.

Can someone tell me who ; Kirara, Sarara, Ruru, Nowel, Lina, Naga and Kukuri, are and where are they from?

Lina = Lina Inverse from Slayers
Kukuri = Mahoujin Guru Guru (anime)

If you want the characters from Slayers and others, you're going to have to uninstall everything. Oh, you have to unlock the characters first unless you have savedata already. So, what I suggest is playing the 1.05 version first and have a run through with Story Mode with all the characters. After that, install the Lyrical Pack and update and complete Mission Mode 1-33 to unlock all the characters and Illustration wallpapers.

How to remove this problem:
1. Uninstall game
2. Install 1.00 version
3. Install 1.05 update
4. Install "Extension Disc Lyrical Pack" to folder with MBA.exe
5. Install MBALpatchVer151+.zip
6. Enjoy the game

I did all you said.
I managed to get the first one working with the 1.05 update.



But the Extension Disc Lyrical Pack created a new folder in 飛翔シ, instead of "マジカルバトルアリーナ" when installing with the main one, it created "マジカル", is this normal? When launching the game from that new folder, it doesn't work.
Nevermind that, I just went ahead and put all the files from the new folder the extension created to the old one, now the game is updated to version 1.51

Can someone list all the moves down because I can only do the three charge up skills and I don't know how to do their super special moves. I don't know how to recover when I get blown away too. Nor how to get up when I get knocked down if someone knows please tell me

By pressing 5+3, you get some sort of aura around you.
Once done, you can press 5+3+1(Hold all) and 5+3+4(Hold all) to make special attacks. (I'm playing with a RumblePad 2 from logitech) With Nanoha, 5+3+4 will result in Starlight Breaker.


It's all in the manual. Look it up and translate some parts of it with BabelFish/Google.

thank you and yes I figured a good deal of the moves by now if not all. Yeah, I was looking at some screen shots and I noticed they have survival mode and mission mode, which I don't have for some strange reason do I have to unlock it or something? And according to some stuff I read you can also unlock characters somehow. I beat the game but I didn't get Ruru so I am kind of disappointed. Btw, the screen says it is patched and the lyrical expansion is also installed so I don't see why there should be a problem ty

Im very sorry to those who posted qns here and i wasnt able to get bak to u guys bcoz im kinda bz these days. Anywayz the net battle is very ez to setup juz type in the IP address of the person u wan to connect to and then u shud b able to play with tat person( can support up to 4 players )make sure ur router and firewall is turned off if not this function wont work. Cheers!

I've been trying out 1.05 patch, and I used the girl in blue (the one with a bow like weapon). In practice mode, I was able to use both of the special skills after releasing the red guage beside the display picture. But when I'm in story mode, I can't seem to use it at all. Are the special moves removed from story mode?

Nope they arnt disabled. The second super special is only usable when u r left with 1 bar of health the other is can b used as long u can use ur over-drive mode and u have something in the red gauge while it is active. Oh and please buy this game if u like it to support fly-system so that they can produce more of such games!!

Btw, I accidentally deleted my MBA folders (recycle bin emptied as well) when I wanted to re-install patches and stuff, but now when I try to run the install.exe for the original battle arena, I receive an error and cannot continue. Does anyone know how to deal with this? I've tried system restore and it failed. Vista user here.

I seem to be able to install the Lyrical expansion without the original (of course it doesn't run) but I can't uninstall it. The program with the green logo in the start menu folder should be the uninstall right? When I clicked on it, they gave me an error prompt with the title on the window "eiunin21" and message "An unexpected error occured." When I googled eiunin21, it's actually identified as a backdoor/trojan. Can someone check on this issue as well?
