Why are a lot of people so hostile to new members?
1) Alot of newbies do not bother to read the history of the topic itself, thus asking alot of stupid questions or those already answered
2) I don't believe in spoon feeding methods, learn it the hard way.
3) When stupid things happen in normal forums, people tend to take it to a whole new level just because it's a forum of a hentai site. Eg. People expect other to identify a AV vid with a single pic and the all famous quote, "
IS THIS TRANSLATED?"
4) Lastly, people this days don't bother to read the rules.
uh your missing one more
5. new members have the attention span of a noodle compared to users with 100 + posts
Since the joining here not too long ago, I've yet to find that to be factual. I was actually disappointed in some "veteran users" who were at some points momentarily looked down upon by me for blatant self-imposition.
A person could have 10,000+ posts and I would still treat them the same as a person with around 100 posts, no better no less.
On topic:
I don't mean to be rude, but.. In the case of this VN, some people seriously overhype things just because much attention is focused on it. My problem is how "uncomplicated" it is in terms of story, if that makes sense; and also how linear it is.
I could look into the untranslated routes completely but I can't be bothered to.
Didn't bother to finish Chris route even though it's already English translated, and looked through all of Miyako's route. And this includes S, I really can't involve myself.
Now if it implemented mini-game-esque elements I may have reconsidered my opinion but so far this is going to be another VN left for some other time. It just didn't lure me in..
In conclusion, this is another VN series which focuses on content, the main objective of it is to obviously provide content.
