Wait, you all know what's happening in the other untranslated routes? Kudos then... I have not a clue what's going on and just skipped through them, and am waiting for the translations... My Japanese skills are... sub-par at best right now...
My Japanese isn't brill, but I use a work-around for it.
If you research a little into using AGTH, Translation Aggregator, TAHelper and Atlas/SYSTRAN(SYSTRAN is Optional), it takes the text that appears in the bottom and translates it automatically by requesting a translation either from the ATLAS software thats installable, or other sites like google or Honyaku. Although its tricky to get working, and tricky to get the hang of the sometimes weird as shit translations, its pretty easy to pick up whats goin on.
If someone else is speaking, I can usually tell whats goin on with the help of a few key words from the translator. For things like Yamato's or non-voiced dialogue, you have to just have to work out whats being said from the translations and people's subsequent reactions. It gets easier as it goes.
There might be a topic out there on Fakku which goes into playing non-translated games through machine translation, but most of my info and files were from a certain other site that begins with H and ends in ongfire.
Failing that, might consider making a topic explaining it if enough people are interested, though it takes a while to set up correctly ;(
The only routes in Majikoi S I have to finish using this method is the Itagaki route and the Koyuki routes, and 99% of the time I got what was going on. Mind you, its pretty easy to translate the H-scenes, it's just all noises and the occasional "Yamato!" "Iku!" "Oishii" xD
This is a quick setup for my laptop, my PC one I spend more time fiddling with to get it lookin good, and also have SYSTRAN workin on it.
