Marvel vs Capcom 3

I rather go for the easy combos and always land them 100% of the time then go for a more technical combo and land it 60% of the time for only 100k more damage. I can do those Wesker Palm and wallbounce stuff, but it's harder to do online, so I keep things very simple. The same is true with Doom's Buktooth combo. He ends up being an awkward character for me online. OTL

more people need to think about things like this. execution isnt everything if you can still get solid damage and great positioning.

I would love to play against you, I don't have the game anymore, but a buddy of mine is going to let me borrow it on Friday and Saturday. Do you play on 360?

True on the easy combo line, especially with the online. However, you do have ways to get down to your opponent and stay on the offensive right?

However, keep in mind that even 50k damage can change the outcome in games.

50k is only important if you can defeat a character. (X_X)

There's a lot of mixup potential after Wesker's Samurai Edge, so I'm still on the offensive, and the combo will usually bring the opponent to the corner, so it's a bad spot for the opponent.

Damn it! Hurm, you don't happen to have a 360 do you? Why is that every time I get a good talk with someone over a fighting game, they don't have the system or the game for the ones I have it on! Total irony lol

Was wondering if anyone else uses a fightstick and what configuration do you go with? Right now I got it set up like I'm playing MvC2.

Tomorrow is Marvel vs Capcom 3 at Evolution 2011. I'm excited to see what top 8 will look like. I'm worried there will be a lot of Wolverine and Akuma or Phoenix there. x-x

He has the skills and it shows, total annihilation of his first opponent when he first came out on the stream.

Noah the Prodigy first burst onto the scene with his Bison for Super Street Fighter IV. I think his big tournament was Fight for Relief. I'm not too sure.

So leik, what should i do with the original copy of MVC3? Being that everybody is getting UMVC3 and MVC3 is going to be obsolete soon.

I traded mine in. Rather have whatever credit I could get from it than a game I'll never play.

$12.69 in Gamestop credit.

But I'd still take that over a game I won't ever play.

I payed almost 70 dollars for the game and gaystop only gave you that much. I'd rather hold on to it. I'll lose even more then what i payed for. Hopefully somebody here will hold on to their copy of the original.

Six out of the top eight have Wolverine and/or Phoenix on their team. Shows how powerful those characters are. MvC3 will start looking like MvC2 if you want to consistently do well in that only a few characters will be viable.

UMvC3 will really change that though, but Wolverine looks to be near the top of the list until UMvC3 comes out.

They said for those that had mvc3 you will get something special.
