Maybe you've heard of Megatokyo before. Maybe you haven't. It's this neat little webcomic that started in 2000 as a straight comedy, but developed into more of a shoujo-esque drama. Despite this shift it's retained a strong community of followers over the years.
So about two weeks ago the comic's creator put up this Kickstarter project. It swiftly raised enough funds to plow through most of the preliminary stretch goals, all save one, which I'm reposting here for the sake of convenience.

$500,000: Excessively Romantic Content. Anyone familiar with visual novels know that most of them contain love scenes of one kind or another for various paths. I typically shy away from showing this sort of thing, but in good humor i present the possibility as a stretch goal. I call it the 'blurred' stretch goal. Can I go there? Yes, I can. Will I? Make me :)

I thought to myself, "Who can I share this with, who would be twisted enough to help the MT fandom meet this stretch goal?" And naturally I thought of you folks. Any of you who are interested in throwing some money at this project, we'd sure appreciate it! <3

Same call here (though you beat me to it I was going to make a topic about it marthwmaster).
The comic in itself has made beautifull progress, astounding story arcs, and all in all loveable characters.
I am extremely excited for the visual novel to come out and thrilled to see that it has allready been founded to this extent.
The next stretch goal is vocals for the songs and then the "excessively romantic arcs".
Please support this, it's going to be awesome.

Wait don't tell me that $500,000 is the goal because that would be money-grubby as fuuuck.If you actually go to the Kickstarter page, you'll see that they've reached all the stretch goals, so the creator tacked that one on so people have a reason to donate. The original goal was $20,000.
OT: I used to read MT, but fell out of touch with it. Maybe I'll try and give it a go again because it was pretty decent. Either way, this is a pretty cool project.
