Just finished the game. IT WAS FUCKING AWESOME! I DIDN'T EVEN CARE FOR THE H-SCENES, I WAS SO INTO THE STORY!

After extracting the rar files I see a folder called "Patch" that contains a file called "ccpatch_1051" and I was wondering what does it do? Do I have to install that?

Do I have to install that?I don't think you need to touch it. Just run the cc-eng.exe and it should work. If you're using Vista or Windows 7, run it as administrator.
Edit: Forgot to mention, just run cc-r8a.exe to install English patch.

Thanks the response zetsubo666. I already knew most of the stuff needed to run the game by reading this thread but the folder that contained the patch inside the rar files was the only one that wasn't mention here, so I wondered what it was for.

So I decided to play this again, but I can't get it to run now.
I'm running Japanese settings, tried mounting the ISO, and running as administrator. What am I doing wrong?

Maybe the previous installation did leave some files or registry remaining and it's causing conflict.
Try unninstaling the game first, and after that clean the registry file of the game.
And try reinstalling it now.
The previous time you installed it worked alright, yeah?
Well just a guess what I said, since I already installed it two times on my computer and I didn't have any trouble.

Question. Can I download the links separately? for example, downloading 3 parts megaupload, 3 parts rapidshare etc.? Will I be able to unrar all of it?

Please observe the size of the Tower of Friends patch (0.5mb) and the final Cross Channel patch(8mb). Then join the dots with common sense. Do you really believe what is in the Cross Channel patch (8mb) will be in Tower of Friends patch (0.5mb)?
If you failed, you can proceed to download both and them and trial and error, I'm sure this process will take you less time then it takes for you to make another post.
