Ok I'm looking for a save file with all the 6 important items required to get the true ending. I just finished all 3 routes but I can't be arsed to redo them on higher difficulties. Can anyone help?
Not sure where the save file is located. If it's in the Data folder then I don't know which one it is.

Most, if not all of the skills can be upgraded either by buying the higher level versions or redoing the different routes on higher difficulties

how do you level up skills? by skills I mean the ones that you use in battle.The skills don't level up. You can either find new ones in the ordacle or buy them at the student store. The levels of skills available increase at set points in the story. If you see the skill levels of your enemies suddenly increase to the next level, then that means the skill level at the store has increased too. You should always be using the option to visit the school store before you go dungeon crawling anyway, so always check the skill store each time you go for new skills.
Skills that you receive as part of the story are at set levels depending on the difficulty level of the game. So if you replay a route on a higher difficulty level, you'll get a strong version of the skill if you get it again.

Thanks for the save file i can finally finish the story! grinding was way too tedious for me...

Are there any quests (specifically talking about what you get from the tavern) which are required? or does all the important stuff happen through the 'missions' that are automatically assigned to you?
I'm on hard mode continuing the Ordacle and I just can't be bothered to do all these quests anymore. I'm using Cheat Engine to *ahem* "fix" the lack luster exp as it is, but I'd prefer to just skip quests altogether unless they give me something specific (such as the Trader's Bag quests which expand your inventory).

For the most part, you just need to do the important "story" quests in Ordacle in order to unlock the True End, however, you also need to defeat the optional boss in the crystal dungeon that resides in the deepest level, even deeper than the story boss in Ordacle. And that thing is by no means easy.

A localized version was released last year.
This thread originally had the japanese version uploaded. This is the reason of your confusion.
It was posted a torrent to the localized version but the link is no longer valid because TPB changed domains. Here's a (currently) valid torrent for the english version:
