Yeah, it's a great game. It can feel like a button-masher at times but if you do just madly spam attacks you'll end up dead pretty quickly. On hard mode it's not that much of a challenge for the first hour or so, I'd usually get the "Took no damage whatsoever" bonus (however they phrase it) but then some quite tricky battles come up. I did the first boss without any difficulty but the second boss kicked the shit out of me.
It's a really polished game, I love the graphics - I'd often just stop to admire then. The localisation is good, there's not much that's said really but what is said fits in well - at least I haven't thought that anything sounds stupid so far. The dialogue is quite minimal and doesn't seem to use slang or anything. It kind of reminds me of how people spoke in Okami. You unlock new swords through an immense skill tree, sort of comparable to the sphere grid in FFX. The swords will have attack strengths, special moves and maybe added properties (like a chance to set the enemies on fire).
There's quite a few pics of it over at
Danbooru now. Look out of the fox woman; in the game they put a lot of effort into animating certain parts of her body even in her little sprite form.
