don't want to sound like an idiot or anything but why would someone go out and buy a whole new console when you can replace the HDD in the current versions of the PS3??Edit: it's cheaper to buy a new HDD
for most people it's cause it's shiny, for others more then just the HDD gets mess up

Sony's getting pretty desperate to release a new ps3 this late. The Wii U will murder this Ps3 just as the Wii destroyed every other console this Gen.The Wii had a great start, but now it's just forgotten. Mine has been in a drawer in my closet for over a year now.
That... Plus I practically never use my 360. I just like the PS3, then again I've been a Sony fan since PS1.
Edit: original Playstation, I just say PS1 for a shorthand and don't mean the rerelease after PS2 came out.
