Me being antagonistic is exactly what I said before, being diverse. And I don't believe I once said it was a postive, so don't put words in peoples mouths. What about you? Be over analystic and dull, am I supposed to take your shining example of how to change personality? Please. Try this arguement with people where you work or study, ''Change your personality, I think it's not being postive''.
Even if somehow, I whetted your nose with an 'invation', i'm recinding it. Oh yeah I didn't in the first place.
Now anything you want to add to the post? Nothing useful? Leave then, or you are just proving me right in the fact you just want an arguement.
You're implying that wanting an argument is a bad thing, which goes against your definition of diversity. I'm expressing myself in a way that makes you uncomfortable, but since it's different, then it's okay because it's part of the gamut that makes the internet. However, that conclusion is absurd and as a result, your conceptualization of diversity doesn't work both ways like a good idea should.
This further deconstructs your ideas about positive contributions to the site. I never said that behaviors need to be literally positive, but positive for the site as a whole. Starting threads about games with your name in it and insults to follow is a bad idea, whereas discussion, even if it is heated, isn't necessarily bad. You knew beforehand that it would likely bug people. Instead of omitting the aspects that you understood to be inflammatory, you went along and posted them. The fact that you expected it actually makes it worse, not better, because you are the author of the post.
As for the issues with conformity, people do suggest other people to change their behavior, even on friendly terms and casual circumstances, so your analogy doesn't actually work. I'm not attacking you, but I do attack the efficacy of your logic and your tone because you can change those without any damage to your personality whatsoever.
As for my purpose, it isn't just you, truly. I've seen this kind of thread-baiting before because I used to do it elsewhere. I want everyone else to know that it is perfectly okay to call someone on their attempts at making a flame-threads and that the side of reason is on their side, even if the rules appear to punish those who react reasonably.
