New Xbox update

I personally like it, except for the fact its hard to see my gamerscore because my TV is old

I just hate the brightness... my T.V makes everything on it insanely bright, since it's a HDTV, if I turn brightness down it makes games a lot more darker... so I don't like it that much.

What about indifference? I don't particularly care either way.

^This. It's hideous. When you hit the guide button it makes me feel like I'm using windows in safe mode because of the bland white/grey color.

agreed its definitely a step down. It was better before, screw kid friendly the little bastards shouldn't be playing xbox anyway they should be outside.

You assume it's ment to be kid friendly...kids these days are better with tech then most adults..my guess is its more PARENT friendly

Where's the "neutral/meh" option? That was pretty much my reaction to the update.

i think that they are trying to make it more family oriented if not just kid friendly all together, i think this mostly because of all the family crap on the spotlight tab in the new dashboard, and because the kinect stuff i have seen looks like it's more for kids. but hell i could be wrong. anyway i just don't care for the new look

I've yet to turn it on, but due to the screenshot, I can tell already I'm going to hate it.
But, seriously, I had NO IDEA this was happening until like, 6 hours ago when I was watching AHWU[I think...].

it's ok in my opnion but it could be better.

also the marketplace takes a whole lot longer to load now.

I think that's just the default screen. I have a FFXIII theme of Lightning and it didn't change so you should be safe. Also, no there is not.

it has less delay during a game so i like it. i dont want fancy stupid animations. for performance sake it is better. visually i could care less.

A fatuous alteration, seeing as the interface has been awful since they added avatars. It pains me to say it, honestly, but the 360 in general literally has nothing going for it any more.

I both like this update and yet I don't.

I like it cause so far I have found it a lot easier to move around the menus.

I don't cause there is a apparent bug with netflix now. This bug being that when in the instant queue it randomly decides to start a fast scroll to the end of the queue. Making it very difficult to get to movies or anime, in the middle of your queue depending on the size. Of which with having 425 things in the queue is very annoying.

So overall I like the update, but this bug with netflix is annoying.
